Below is a letter we just sent to the AP about the "No Such Thing" campaign: Our hotline has taken over 500,000 calls since 1987 when we founded Sex Workers Anonymous. We also created the first safe house for adults in this country, as well as the first alternative to sentencing and diversion programs. I am the founder of this modern trafficking movement. Why am I see a protest against J Lo when it's supposedly Dr. Lucas that raped Kesha?  Now granted, Kesha could be making up these accusations to get out of her contract.  It would be a horrible thing to do if she is - so one needs to examine the patterns. When you're leaving a pimp/trafficker - there's things you need to know.  The first is they have software that can send their phone a record of every call you make, along with a recording of the call.  It can be done automatically so you don't realize it's being done.  This is why we have an 800 number our for hotline.  I want you to be able to go to a payphone and call our 800 # and then you know they're not over hearing your call. Another thing we have to do is when we pick you up - we have to get rid of your phone.  If you have any contacts in your phone, you need to delete them.   Realize also these people know how to call you from what appears to be a different phone number than theirs to trick you into not knowing it's them.  They can also track your physical location.  Meaning if you have your phone on you, they can track your every move.  So if you're going to a "safe house" or the house of a friend to hide out - they can trace where you

I apologize.  I wasn't asking to be written into the Bill.   I was asking if we could be included in the dialogue.  Our local members in Seattle have been severely threatened by members of SWOP into being afraid to speak up individually online, and also in public at any of the hearings.  They are speaking to me and I am reaching out asking that we be included in the conversation about this is all.  Being we are the oldest and largest program of survivors in this country I think that's fair.   I also think if you're going to speak about laws regarding alcoholism, that you include AA, and people like Bill Wilson, AA's founder, in the discussion as well as the bar owner, the wine maker, and the drunk sitting on the bar stool drinking who insists he's "not an alcoholic" and "doesn't have a problem".  You will find our view being out of the industry now is going to be different than say Mary's of SWOP who has been guilty of a lot of th
