I'm reading Kylie Jenner is going to be lending her social media support to the film "Caged No More".  I'm also hearing from survivors who have seen it (I haven't been invited yet despite the fact I run the oldest and largest group of survivors that started this movement in the first back back in the 1980's, that the film is "not realistic".

I can't comment having not seen it but I can say this - sex trafficking takes many forms.  However, I don't believe there's anything like the type of trafficking that exists here in the states.  You can watch trafficking movies about Thailand, China, Korea, Columbia  - all you want and you will not know how it works here in the states in it's many different manifestations.

But let me ask you something, what would you think about someone who is creating a film for Alcoholics Anonymous to help people get sober sponsored by an alcohol company?  Would you think it would be 100 % honest?  What about research on tobacco sponsored by the tobacco company?  If anyone remembers, tobacco executives LIED to Congress about their product.

The "Insider" as we saw in the film with Al Pacino and Russell Crowe had to FIGHT the media just in order to bring us the truth about tobacco.  This guy did not go running down to the local news station and say "oh look here's a report that shows the truth on tobacco".

NO.  This guy had to fight tooth and nail over the fact CBS was being threatened within an inch of their lives by the tobacco company threatening to sue them for defamation.

Let's take a quick look at the Kardashian clan here for a moment.  Kylie, who is supposed to be promoting this film on trafficking, supposedly has a sex tape of her own out now.

We have Innocence Lost coming out with a very realistic film about what sex trafficking is like in the USA - however it's having to come out in the UK.  I don't see Kylie, or any of the Kardashian or Jenner clan promoting THIS film.

But I do see Rob Kardashian dating a porn performer, Blac Chyna.   In fact, the media is saying how "good" she is for him in all the weight he's lost.  Let's not mention before when he was saying he couldn't leave his house because he was "sitting around watching porn day and night".  I mean he couldn't possibly be switching addictions now could he?  Oh but we can't talk about "addiction" while Kloe is being sponsored by an alcohol company for her new show.

The film "Caged No More" that's supposed to be helped with marketing by Kylie Jenner is by Trafficking Hope.  Only if you go on their page all you see is one after the other after the other of African-American and Hispanic men who are clearly street level pimps being arrested.

There is nothing on there about how white men like Dennis Hof or Lance Gilman are pimps, nor men like Chris Butler or Kemp Shiffer.  Certainly nothing about the Hell's Angel's who murdered Margo Compton  and who owned the "Shady Lady" brothel where this happened to Aubrey

Nor do I see anything being mentioned about the Asian massage parlors that are on every corner in Los Angeles now.  Considering Aston Kutcher is photographed coming out of one - we don't want to mention them as points of sex trafficking clear back to the Mann Act of 1910 now do we?  Oh no - let's keep the focus on kids with THORN so no one notices him going into the massage parlor with adults.

Now at first I thought Ashton might come out and say he was doing "research" on the trafficking arena in massage parlors as to why he was seen coming out of one - but not a peep.  So I guess he wasn't there on research, nor outreach, or he would have said something.

Let's see we have Kim Kardashian all over the Vivid website.  As we do Montana Fishburne - Laurence Fishburne's daughter.  Who wasn't turned out into prostitution by the "big bad black pimp on the corner".   But instead by her boyfriend in high school in 2010.

There's more on her arrest here - Jeremy had her down at Vivid on her 18th birthday to sign her porn contract.  A film he did right along with her.

So not one, but two people were now caught up with Vivid and a career in porn which never goes away by the way.  I have members of who report to me that photos from 20 years before can pop up on their jobs, their marriages, etc., and then they lose everything.

One woman who had racy photo taken 17 years prior has been fired.

What?  Porn isn't as big as the tobacco or alcohol industry you say?  Really?

Here's how it works - people are interested in Kim or Kylie so they type in their keywords.  They find the Vivid tape pop up and they're curious.  Now no one on this end appears to be being "turned out" right?  I mean Kris isn't putting a gun to anyone's head and making them do this right?  No one put a gun to Rob's head to get him emotionally involved with a porn performer.  No on put a gun to Kylie's head to make a film with her boyfriend.  I mean everyone "loves" each other right?

But then people at home go onto the Vivid site looking for Kim or Kylie  and they see Montana.  Oh wow look at Laurence's little girl - let's check this out.

Voila - you now have Kim and Kylie "pimping" Montana's adult films.  Then when the "johns" see the film they think "oh I want a taste of that" so they go looking for Montana to schedule them an appointment.  They know she's been arrested for prostitution so certainly she's available is what they'll think.

We then see "Montana regrets doing porn" even though I know I for one tried to warn her beforehand.  I tried leaving messages on her social media, with DJ's she was doing interviews with, with people who said they were her friend, etc.  I even reached out to the Kardashian family asking if THEY would warn Montana not to do this - that her experience would not be like Kim's.   I never got an answer back.

Montana is no longer doing porn - but instead now "stripping".  Okay NOW you may have an idea why our members have to abstain from ALL FORMS of the sex industry - because as you can see what we do is we "switch".  We "substitute" from one form to another never thinking it's the industry itself that's the problem.  No it's just "how" we're doing it not that we need to leave it alone entirely.

Let's see - looks like Montana working at a club in Texas now.  and now we have her Twitter speaking about STD's.

So Kim and Kylie - you're just "pimped" out Montana Fishburne.    That's how it works from that perspective.  But here's another - right now there's pimps all over doing to the girls or boys they're with feeding them the same line of bull that got Montana up to that Vivid office with him on her 18th birthday.  The man she loved was right there right her also.   Wonder where he's at now?

Seems he's in Los Angeles selling weed and pimping.  Doesn't look like they're still together does it?  Meaning he was sure there for her when it was time to sign that contract, make that porn, and get paid in 2010.

Now six years later, he's in Los Angeles selling weed and she's stripping down in Texas.  Thing is however I remember checking in on Montana in 2013 and she was trying to become a personal trainer while only "dating" sports figures.  I warned her without support that she'd just slide back into sex work which is what appears to be the case.  But this Jeremy was all over her for years until he got her into that Vivid office - and now they don't seem to have much connection at all looking at their social media.

This is what happens to most people - NOT winding up like Kim Kardashian married to Kanye West.  People have to understand that the difference here between these two girls is for one Kim has her mother watching over her - something I did not see anywhere in the picture with Montana.

In fact, her father wasn't just ignoring her, but every woman in the family it appeared.

Including it appears is Laurence's mother.  Now I had dropped a line to Dr. Phil that I think this family needs some "intervention" but it doesn't appear anyone's looking into the fact this family is in trouble and who looks like they're paying the price is Montana.  She was 18 years old in 2010, making her 24 years old now.  That's usually when I get the phone call - between 24 and 26 years old saying "I'm done".

Now while it appears she was being pimped in her teen years - her social media does not look like she has one now.  Meaning that Montana isn't probably going to think she needs to call the National Trafficking Hotline.  Nor Jeremy.  Neither one will classify as "trafficked" but you can't convince me they don't need help in getting out of the sex industry - Jeremy included because pimps don't die of old age neither you know.

Again, why I'm putting out there Montana or Jeremy if you want help you can reach out to us at  We have a large group of members in Texas as you might well imagine as well as Los Angeles.  Yes we know a few ex-pimps as well.

Oh wait a minute - did I say Kris was "watching over Kim"?  Excuse me - cough - "managing Kim" I should have said.  I'm curious, does "Caged No More" highlight that a mother can be the one pimping out her kids?

My mom sure did.  When she found out I had been turned out by the pimps in Richard Pryor's family - she stood in line for her cut. or  Now I wonder where these mother's got their ideas to put their girls into prostitution.  Hmmm.  Too bad they didn't put them into porn and then they wouldn't get arrested under the "No Such Thing" campaign.  Nope.  If their girls had been juveniles and did porn they'd just get counseling.  Counseling their mothers would drive them to.

I don't think anything like that is in the film, "Caged No More" as it would be if I were to make a film about this subject, but then again I know the Kardashian family wouldn't be standing in line to promote my film.  People are great at looking in the dirty closests of people in foreign countries, or other people, but no one likes to take a look at the skeletons in their own closets.  Even if it does affect the children around them.

It's called "denial".

Now if you ask me THIS is what Willow was talking about when she went to her mom, Jada Pinkett-Smith, saying she was "seeing this kind of thing going on at school around her".

So mom goes out and does a special in Atlanta, Georgia with CNN talking about sex trafficking there.  No offense but Willow asked about Beverly Hills sex trafficking NOT about Atlanta Jada.  Oh by the way - don't bother trying to reach anyone in the documentary with Jada.  They've all moved on to bigger, better jobs and are no longer in those offices seen in the film.  The group she promoted ran out of funding and folded.  We however are still here.  But yes Jada went out and did a movie and "Don't Sell Bodies" campaign so she could her son and daughter that she "did something about this".   Yes - she made a film about poor African-American families over in Atlanta NOT pointing the camera in her own back yard.

Right after this film, we see then Jada coming out in Magic Mike XL with Channing Tatum speaking about how he's quit stripping three years ago himself.   Magic Mike XXL  Jada plays a lesbian MC who holds the mike in a very suggestive fashion while she introduces the male dancers in the film.  Trust me - most male strippers are not Channing Tatum nor will they wind up like him either.

Now you and I as adults know this is just a film.  However, when I was growing up and I was watching the "Happy Hooker" on TV, along with Mae West, and  Linda Lovelace in "Deep Throat" being like a rock star in the first adult film to be seen in mainstream theaters in the 1970's - do you think I knew that this stuff wasn't "real"?  All I knew was I wanted to be on that stage too - just as kids are going to want to be Channing Tatum and Jada Pinkett-Smith in Magic Mike XL.

IF the alcohol and tobacco companies didn't know the power of film - then tell me why we've passed laws that forbid the use of alcohol, along with smoking?  Tell me why film companies are having to set things back in time like "Mad Men" just in order to show those images of drinking and smoking again?

Having a read good impact on us too what with Whitney, Bobbi Christina and Michael Jackson dying from drugs and alcohol.

Disney is banning smoking in their films - so clearly film companies DO KNOW the power of seeing our favorite celebrities doing something.

Like 'lil sis and big sis in the Kardashians being in XXX films.

The problem ladies is that other people aren't like you and they don't have Kris running around making sure they get home at night, or they don't disappear somewhere.  I read that the actress who plays Dharma, Jenna Elfman, in Dharma & Greg, had her daughter just simply go on a date and WHAM - she's now a trafficking victim.

So it's here.  It's in Hollywood.  It's in your schools and affecting your kids.  Your kids can simply go out on a date - and it's here.  Jada's film nor her campaigns did anything to warn Jenna about the trafficking going on right here in Los Angeles in our own schools.   Neither is Kris Jenner doing anything to have warned Jenna Elfman before it hit her daughter either.

Because it's kind of hard to be telling your kids not to drink while you're doing a beer commercial.

Even harder when you're bringing the owner of Anheuser Busch over for dinner.   You know Cindy McCain - she's the wife of Anheuser Busch Beer who sponsored the pushing forward of the "No Such Thing" campaign.  You know that one - they called out to stop arresting juveniles for prostitution charges.

HOWEVER, without being arrested, that means the police then don't ask who their pimp was who put them out there.  No instead they're referred over to counseling.  Then guess who drives them to counseling?  Their mothers.  Oh don't worry - they'll know what to say.  My mom sure had me coached what to say when the social workers were around so as not to have me taken away!  Oh and a pesky little thing like finding out who their pimps are?  Well we don't need to bother with that either now do we because there's "no such thing" as a prostitute means there's no such thing as a pimp right?

Now don't tell me that some of this money and contracts didn't factor into what happened recently with Lamar Odom.  For the last two years now I have been knocking on doors trying to get the authorities to hear that I've been hearing from the customers of strip clubs, massage parlors, and brothels, that these men have been drugged, then while passed out they've been robbed, their cards maxed out, their bank accounts hacked into - all within establishments they thought were "legal".

When they have woke up and realized what happened to them - they're reported the police have threatened to charge them with drug possession or being under the influence in order to convince them to drop the charges - which we then witnessed playing out in living color on the news with Lamar.   Only once he was safe back home in Los Angeles - I STILL don't hear anyone talking to me in the media about what's going on and even to Lamar - not even Lamar.  Why?  Could be because 1/2 the family is in the porn business and being sponsored by the alcohol industry.

I mean check out the spin on this  He almost dies, wakes up with $75,000 missing out of his pockets, and the media looks like he "spent $75,000" on a good time there.  Anyone looking back on this would think he just had too much of a good time here, not that he almost died and that he might have been taken to a further out hospital in order for the brothel to be able to protect their ass had he died.  Oh no - let's not talk about that.

I've been working with trafficking victims in Nevada since 1988.  I have had pimps in Nevada taunt us over the fact there is ONE lab in all of Nevada that they have access to because their friends own the joint, Quest Diagnostics.

There isn't two labs - there's one.  Meaning evidence can be altered.  Evidence such as HIV results, DNA results at crime scenes, paternity results, and yes even cover things up if someone winds up dead.  Didn't anyone wonder why Lamar was taken to first Pahrump and then Sunrise?  Do you realize that in a helicopter it is the same distance from the brothel to UMC - which is where most celebrities are taken since they have the best ER and the best trauma unit.  They treat more overdose victims there also.

First of all, I know from the working girls up there who tell me they know most of the staff at Pahrump.  My mother died at Sunrise and I watched as all of her files were on a computer which could have been altered or destroyed with one button - nothing was on paper.

However, at UMC it's not all computerized.  If Lamar had died, the brothel would have wanted to ensure they were able to cover up the medical records so as not to point to them.  Now this was Lamar - can you imagine what just an ordinary Joe or Jane is up against when going up against this kind of system with this kind of power?   Not everyone has their team of lawyers.

Well now maybe you have an idea the problem with a prostitute at the brothel catches HIV and then goes to try and prove it and the lab falsely reports it a negative?  Or if a rape victim is trying to prove she was raped by someone and the DNA is altered?  Because I've taken women who were trafficked into the hospital and I've been taunted over the fact that these records can be altered.

Would the word get out?   Not when Adelson who has a "prostitution agenda" in this country owns the Review Journal and about 90 %  of the media in Nevada it won't.   Especially with his record of intimidating journalists.  Oh no, Adelson isn't supporting the push to legalize prostitution across the country and he wants to fight sex trafficking very much.

So I"m sure that's why there's been so much press about her work in Nevada in his paper considering I've been living in Nevada and working with victims there since 1988.  Oh yes, so much press on and how we're helping victims in the only state where prostitution is legal.   In fact, let's go see how much.  We'll go to the Review Journal and type in "Sex Workers Anonymous" and let's see how much has been written about our work in Nevada - especially after we gave an international press conference about sex trafficking in Nevada in only 2007.

What's that say?  ZERO.

Okay so the RJ won't write about us.  So is Lamar taking this event and using it to warn others?  No.  Is Kloe saying anything about the brothel that almost killed Lamar?  Well no - she's filming her premiere of "Kocktails".    So if you want to know how to protect your children from sex trafficking - I wouldn't suggest a film being promoted on the subject by the Kardashian family.

Because the only message I'm seeing looking at them is bare it all, take the money and shut up.  Everyone else can fend for themselves.  As long as you got yours - screw 'em all.  That's the message I'm getting from them about all of this.  Who cares if Montana is now stripping down in Texas.  You got yours - so screw her right?  Let her own family worry about her right?  Only Laurence just doesn't seem to be doing anything is he?  Not your problem hey Kris?

Let's leave it up to the FBI - they know what they're doing.

Or the prosecutor's office - they know what to do.

The cops - they know what to do.

Okay maybe LAPD isn't the right cops.

And there's nothing wrong with strip clubs or Channing wouldn't have been talking about them like it wasn't anything wrong -

Okay that's not fair.  That kind of thing doesn't exist in male strip clubs.

America - pimps are all around us and they aren't what these films "Caged No More" are trying to convince you they are like, who they are, and how they operate.  If you want help to get out of the sex industry, away from people who say they care about you and who clearly don't, then please know you can call and we'll get you out of there.

Dear Members of ABC:

Please allow me to introduce myself.  Now let me ask you a couple of questions before going further.

1.  Have you heard of sex trafficking happening today in America?

2.  Are there legal brothels in California?

3.  Have you heard or seen of the Mob Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada?

Here's why I ask.  In the late 70's and early 80's - America devoutly did not believe sex trafficking was real.  So much so that the "Happy Hooker" was on the NY Times Best Seller list, the XXX film "Deep Throat" was being played in mainstream theaters that if you were "hip" you saw it, Playboy had it's "Gold Key Club" across the country that wealthy businessmen had their business functions at, and Dolly Parton was singing "nothing dirty going on" in her musical about a brothel in Texas with Sylvester Stallone as her romantic lead where she was the madam and he was the local sheriff (based on a true story).  The "Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" was a huge musical romantic comedy by the way where the song Whitney Houston later remade of "I will always love you" was the hit song of the musical.

When Linda Lovelace herself got up and told America she had been forced to film "Deep Throat" with her pimp pointing  gun on her off camera, and the film had been financed by the mob, with no one on the set stepping up to stop him or free her - audiences in America would literally "boo" her or shout out "liar" to her when she was on talk shows.

Prostitutes were viewed as either "worthless criminals" where the police would go out weekly in buses and arrest them in "sweeps" while churches organized "projects" where they would go out and chase the prostitutes out of that area like they were cockroaches - and their murders were being completely ignored.  The "Grim Reaper" had murdered so many African American women in Los Angeles, leaving their bodies in dumpsters, that even when their mothers protested how LAPD was not investigating these cases - nothing was done until 25 YEARS later when a white reporter here in the states picked up on the story.  They were also viewed so much as a "health risk" that in 1986 a Bill was proposed to try and put prostitutes on an island to "quarantine" them from harming "society".

I want you to have an idea what I was up against and why the first "safe house" for adults in this country was called a "brothel" in the news.  You can see the clip at where it shows I had a warehouse next to the police station with iron bars and surveillance cameras which shot footage sent to a camera off site where I would put those we had to hide from traffickers.  Why not just put them in a shelter or drug treatment program?  Because if you were a prostitute in Los Angeles - one prostitute who had been stabbed 51 times was refused to be admitted by a hospital, the drug treatment centers and the shelters would REFUSE them admittance because back then you were a "criminal posing a health risk".

I knew the media wouldn't believe that warehouse wasn't a brothel for the very reasons I set it up - no one believed any of this stuff was real any longer.  In the 1968 "Thoroughly Modern Millie" starring Julie Andrews - it was a musical comedy about Asian sex trafficking where the owner of a hotel for young actresses was drugging them and then selling them into an opium den brothel.  The "finale" was her organizing a rescue and burning the place down.  It was very clear they were spoofing these ideas as "jokes" and not "real" if you watch the film today.

So from 1984 until 1987 - I got mentored.  I went out and put together a board of people who had not only been a part of the founding of Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous but who had also "changed the world".  I mean people used to think that alcoholics were winos in alleys.  Not until Betty Ford stepped up to confess she was one - did they really believe this disease could affect anyone.  Which meant 12 step fellowships also brought about change.

Yet while AA was accepted - in the early days of NA addicts who would attend would be arrested.  For that reason, the early meetings of NA had to be organized like drug deals!  Laws had to be passed just so they could meet in peace and addicts on probation wouldn't be violated for "associating with felons" by going to their NA meetings to stay clean.  Imagine that world - where to stay clean and attend an NA meeting you had to hide it for your probation officer because he might violate and arrest you for such an act!

I had also got a lot of help for my own PTSD with a holocaust survivors group I joined.  The members there taught me a lot about how Hitler came into power, as well as the way propaganda was used to justify the way they were being treated.  I mean something had to be spun to stop people from marching up the street to shut down the gas chambers who were burning so many people the cafeteria owners would have to come in early just to sweep up the ashes from the bodies that would float down over their cafes overnight.

They introduced me to some people who were organizing some events at the East West Center.  They introduced me to people who had walked with Gandhi, and knew Malcolm X personally.  So by the time I walked onto that first talk show stage in 1987 to say that (1) sex trafficking was real, (2) our country needed to change in order to help us stop this from happening and provide the victims with proper care afterwards, (3) not all prostitutes were junkies with pimps, and (3) promote our hotline and program which was the first national program for ALL adults (male, female and transgender) who were straight and LGBT, as well as any, or no, religion - I had a lot of people behind me who had armed me with knowledge of the American civil rights movement, Gandhi, Nazi Germany, prohibition, womens' movement - and essentially any movement which required changing the world view in order for change to be accomplished.

The reason why I asked about if you'd seen brothels in California is just the next year, 1988, Joe Conforte, the previous owner of the Mustang Ranch brothel, had decided he wanted to expand the legal brothels into the state as a "solution to the HIV crisis".  He bought himself a college to research his brothel and declare that "no brothel prostitutes have HIV" which the street walkers of Los Angeles had shown an 80 percent infection rate.  Joe also put up a $1,000,000 into a PR firm to help him win on that project.

So by 1988 - not only we were founding the modern day sex trafficking movement which achieved federal recognition with the passing of the Trafficking Act of 2000, but we also defeated the push to expand the brothels into California.  By the way - no one stood up with me on that fight.  They were all too scared of Joe because of how he murdered that boxer in cold blood and didn't do one day in jail!

The Mob Museum in Las Vegas didn't just appear overnight.  For quite a while, the mayor, Oscar Goodman, and brothel owners like Dennis Hof and Lance Gilman, along with many celebrities who included Gene Simmons for one, and many business owners like the Cashman family who owns the Cashman Center and the car dealership - wanted to put a legal brothel where that museum now stands.  Also on that clip site I sent you is him being quoted as talking about how they could build "magnificent brothels" in Las Vegas.  Something Oscar would promote to investors about how profitable it would be with it being an "international stop for businessmen from all over the world".

I was also the only person I saw around me fighting that fight also.  In fact, when we walked into the legislature in February of 2013 to testify against the project to expand the brothels into Las Vegas - we were literally the ONLY opponents to speak up against the brothel lobbyist at that hearing.  We watched 45 so called "abolitionists" get up and walk out of the legislature right before that hearing started in fact.  Not one of them would even join us for moral support.  The important thing is the legislature did the right thing and voted against that idea.

So when I approach you I do so as the "founder of the modern day sex trafficking movement" with documentation attached to prove this statement.  I also am the reason why we don't have legal brothels in California or where the Mob Museum now stands in Las Vegas.  I'm telling you this because I want you to first of all understand I don't come to you with a bunch of "theories" or "opinions" but with actual real world experience at literally "changing the world" and "starting a movement".

Tell me if Vegas isn't going to be a different place entirely now with not only that museum there instead of a brothel - but also because of the arts district that went in around that area also, which led to a farmers market, and now talks of a grocery store moving into that part of town where many poor and disabled live because of the cheap rents.  All things I accomplished without any money, looking like Barbie, or having rich famous powerful "friends" in high places.  I mean let's get real - by the early 1980's I was considered one of those "junkie prostitutes".

We have a lot more in common than maybe you realize at first glance.  First of all, I appear "white" but in reality I'm the descendant of a union between a slave owner and a freed slave who ran off to have a family together.  I also am part of a Native American and white couple - so slavery and 'forbidden love" are part of my ancestry.  It also means I'm African American by blood.  Something I wasn't even aware of until I did my genealogy.

One of the reasons why I wanted to change things was because I was in the middle of what's now been called Iran Contra.  For those of you who don't know anything about this - I'd suggest "Charlie's War" for one, as well as "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind", "Cocaine Cowboys" and also "Crack in the System".  Essentially, our government wanted to buy guns for the Contra's but couldn't get the budget officially to do so.  So to raise cash "off the books" they didn't have to answer to anyone about - they were the ones who arranged to flood this country with cocaine.

All while blaming the African American gangs for the epidemic.  Ice T also talked about this being part of the frustration that became the LA Riots in his documentary.  Remember, we didn't have the internet back then.  The major media was blaring it's propaganda with the only voices they had in south central being rap music which was being sold out of the trunks of cars - and the Molotov cocktail.  John Singleton took to writing to carry his message in films like "Boz in the Hood" and Mario Van Peeples in "New Jack City".

But realize that the music and film industry of the 1980's that was revealing the whole true story to us - wasn't controlled by the very people who were part of the problem back then unlike today.  After the Telecommunications Act of 1995 - things changed dramatically.  For one - the law REQUIRED that every time Joe went onto TV in 1988 - he had to have a "counter opinion" air with him.  Something not required today by the way.

I used to run public service announcements all over this country with our hotline number on it.  That meant if you turned on the TV at 2:00 a.m. in New York, Seattle, Chicago, etc. you would see Frances Nuyen saying "do you want help to leave - call (818) XXX-XXX".  We also had a weekly public access show we filmed here in Los Angeles.  I would interview a different survivor every week on that show.  Then I'd duplicate it and mail a copy to another TV station in another city who would air it there, and so on and so on until we had these airing across the country on public access channels.  This gave voice to survivors in their words unedited and unsponsored - and not asking for money either.

After the Trafficking Act of 2000 got passed - I made the mistake of thinking "we're done".  The truth is it had just begun.  That's what I'd like to talk to you about.  Because everything I learned about social change and activism was done BEFORE things changed.  If you have watched the movie about "Wikileaks" you'd know that basically the internet created a world where many people in power realized they couldn't hide a lot of things any longer.  What this did was set about a way of "countering" movements using technology and the understanding of people into "smear" campaigns.

Take a look at what's happening right now to KFC as but one example.  They're suing a marketing company who created a social media campaign against their company who was spreading rumors they were serving "deep fried rats" and other such horrible lies to smear them.  Now I want you to think about how much money KFC generates in sales - and compare it to what you think sex and drug trafficking mean - and you'll realize that if certain people use these types of smear campaigns over chicken - they sure as hell will when it comes to other things also.  Especially when it comes to things like how our country just set aside over TWO BILLION dollars to "fight sex trafficking" in countries where prostitution is legal by the way.

Let me ask you something - if you were a politician and you wanted to go into a country who had no "weapons of mass destruction" what would you do?  Now Bush went into Iran even after being told they "didn't have any" under a thin veneer of saying he "thought they had them".  But what's the one thing some countries do have that don't have weapons of mass destruction that could be something so powerful as to incite this whole country to agree that it's "worth invading them over".

Welcome to what's happening right now with the modern day Iran Contra.  Only to push this agenda - it's also become the new "war on the African American community".  I came out saying that the traffickers we were fighting were men in power - police, politicians, prosecutors, film makers, etc.  The people who hijacked our movement - follow around behind African American men calling them "traffickers".

When Jada Pinkett-Smith led the CNN Freedom Project on their crusade against "traffickers" where did she go?  Did they go where we held a press conference in 2007 to say it's an "out of control epidemic"?  Where Bob Herbert from the NY Times wrote that he validated my statement that you could "throw a rock and hit a victim" that had Oscar threatening him with a "baseball bat to the head"?

No.  She led you into Atlanta, Georgia where every "trafficker" shown was an African American male and every "victim" was a young African American girl.  Check out this no "No Such Thing" campaign funded by the McCain Institute with Malika Saar wearing corn rows and their "poster child" is an African American girl.  Meaning if you watch every major media show right now out about sex trafficking - you will see the brainwashing of America into thinking this is about the African American community.

While the reality is the traffickers I'm fighting today wear badges and are of every color and country.  So I was hoping maybe I could just connect to some of your group and we could talk.  I wanted to also point out that the methods I learned from the "masters" of social change - lived in a different world.  I say that because I'm seeing many groups report they're getting hurt by not updating their methods.  I have seen Monsanto protesters report their cell phones were cut off during  protest, and hackers went in and canceled their events.  I'm reading people at the Million Man March speak about how major media didn't even cover the event except to smear them.

I have sat by and watched as major media has outright lied and staged things that are beyond believable when it comes to sex trafficking.  Things the FCC has told me there is "nothing that they can do" and even now Fox has won the legal right to not only spread a false story - but further can threaten to fire a reporter who balks at reporting a lie.  I don't mean "spin" either - but I can show you articles and pieces where they've even set up "fake" meetings of ours to blast out on media to destroy a reputation that took me 30 years to build they destroyed in seconds.  That was even after I sent them a legal notice threatening to sue them - they still aired a segment on NBC where it was entirely staged.  I did threaten to sue them for copyright and trademark infringement for using our group's name without my consent  - but the damage is already done.

I can show you things they've done that would led me to believe that even Sandra Bland's being pulled over for no accident.  Her story is tied to why I had to tell every member of SWA to not "identify" as such.  We had to take down our groups, our facebook profiles, our forums, etc. and we had to tell every member to remove all reference to our name even on their profiles because we were having members report back to us of being stalked, threatened, even fake criminal charges suddenly appearing on their records.

So I'd like to talk to you about the "modern day tactics" if I might.  I'm working on a book about the whole thing right now I'm going to call "Anatomy of a Movement" but while I'm working on it I was hoping maybe we could talk.

Thank you for your time.

Dear Fred Mwangaguhunga and Notoya Green:

I'm writing you for help to broadcast something after watching you on "My Sweet 40th" on TV recently.  There is a war going on right now against African American men in this country.  A war being waged by rich powerful WHITE religiously motivated entities.  They have found a new way to put a face on a war against the African American male, and even single mother families of African Americans.  I may look white, but I'm the direct descendant of a family comprised of a slave owner and a slave who ran away once she could be free to build a family.  Today, I help sex trafficking victims find an underground railroad of their own to find freedom through the founding of the modern day sex trafficking movement and our hotline.

These people such as California Endowment, the McCain Institute, and the Catholic Church (we beat them in ACLU vs. Catholic Bishops, and a Supreme Court decision striking down the TVRA of 2003  - so this is how they're fighting back), and pro-life people and even those who oppose PETA (I can show you how these people against us are also who set up Planned Parenthood and yes even set up PETA last year at the Rose Bowl), as well as those directly tied to sex trafficking within our government like Randall Tobias and David Vitter - are now using African American's such as P. Diddy, Russell Simmons, Jada Pinkett-Smith, and Malika Saar all hand picked to make what they are doing to attack African Americans to brand them in the mind of the public as "traffickers" in an IDENTICAL war that I witnessed in the 1980's during Iran Contra when these people were ALSO blaming the African American community for the drugs that were pumped into this country by THEM (who Rick "Freeway" Ross and Gary Webb have now backed up my story is true I've been saying since 1987 when I founded the modern day sex trafficking movement)  in the IDENTICAL manner of how the Nazi's picked Jews to run the showers at Aushwitz to gain compliance.

So - this is a letter I've been sending out from us to counter their "No Such Thing" Campaign.  (Note - headed by an African American woman and an African American girl even here -    I'm writing you because they are TRICKING famous African American celebrities such as P. Diddy and Russell Simmons to back them.

These people are not watching the media pertaining to sex trafficking - however I am.  So they aren't aware of the slick media propaganda that's been going out on the air to cover up what's really going on here with the hijacking of the movement I founded NOT against the African American community BUT against rich, powerful WHITE men in our own GOVERNMENT who are involved in sex trafficking.  Who even Jeane Palfrey was murdered in my opinion trying to reveal the proof - and before she could get the word out the numbers in her "Black Book" were not just "johns" but TRAFFICKERS.

I watch shows like the Freedom Project that was hosted by Jada Pinkett-Smith not one week before she came out to promote Magic Mike XL.  On this show, Jada went into Atlanta, GA where all they did was film African American teens with African American "pimps" (by the way a pimp and trafficker are different but they use these terms interchangeably also to hide the fact "traffickers" are white in this country).  I've watched NBC follow African American husbands around the lobby of a jail while they are bailing out their wife saying "you're a trafficker" while he's going "no I'm not - I'm here to bail out my wife".  So the minute I call her out for her "hypocrisy" on this issue - now they've replaced her with Malika Saar?

I'm writing to you because I saw how you had a hard time financially and you used credit to eat at the bottom.  Well you had credit to do so.  Some African American single mothers aren't so fortunate as to be married, or have credit.  They wind up often with only one way to feed their children.  They put on red lipstick and go out onto a corner around the end of the month.  Then they are being picked up by police looking for trafficking grant money - and labeled a "trafficking victim".  They're told they have to do it or else go to jail.

Worse, if there is a male in the home - they are told if they don't prosecute him as her "trafficker" that they will come and take her babies.  Do you want to know WHY we're having a record increase in black men in prison?  Google "trafficking arrests" right now in this country and you'll find that Kemp Schiffer, a white IRS agent who trafficked girls for 12 YEARS got two YEARS in prison - while an African American male got 140 YEARS for doing less.

I want you to imagine if instead of having that wonderful 40th bash you did - how would you like to have been in the shoes with a baby and no credit.  Maybe you went out on that corner.  Then to save your baby from going into CPS - you had to put your same wonderful husband behind bars so they can build bigger jails in this country.  Because THAT'S what's happening right now.  These people have found another African American face to wage this wage upon the African American community with the upcoming launch of their "No Such Thing" campaign.

I invite you to look at also who is the focus of this "No Such Thing" campaign if not GIRLS.  When the author of the Trafficking Act of 2000, Michael Horowitz, even confirms with me the movement I started has been hijacked - let me explain more of what I mean by that.  Prior to 2000, when the Act was passed, our program, Sex Workers Anonymous (formerly Prostitutes Anonymous) was active in every major city of the USA, Canada and in other countries.  Our program served ALL - men, women, transgenders and the LGBT community.

Yes we had some African American women like Brenda Myers-Powell, but we also served Native American transgender strippers, white Jewish lesbian escorts and madams, and Asian Buddhist gay male hustlers.  We did not discriminate.  However, if you go and look at any "trafficking shelter" right now, being funded by federal AND church money, you'll find the only ones being served as HETEROSEXUAL CHRISTIAN FEMALES.  I challenge you to find ONE that serves kosher food or has a meditation center in fact because this is not only a race war being waged, but a religious one that is also excluding the LGBT community by omission.

So I'm writing to get your help with counter-media within the African American community.  A community where rappers who are not as wealthy as P.Diddy are being picked up, harassed, targeted as "traffickers" while the REAL traffickers like Mally Mall are hiding behind Snoop Dogg.  They won't dare touch anyone connected to Snoop who I know for a fact IS acting as a shield for real trafficking.  Is he aware of it or being taken advantage of?  I don't know.  I can't get an audience with him to find out.  All I can do is set up to get his attention to what is going on under him to raise his awareness to it since his people won't let me talk to him about it.  (Yes to the lobbyists who are attacking me for this boycott - all I'm trying to do is get Snoop's attention to what's going on under him.  If real life pimps couldn't shut me up in the 1980's - do you really think the Cupcake Girls are going to chase me off?)

I don't know how to reach into that hip hop community any better than to start with your media outlet - so I'm sending you a copy of a letter I'm trying to get published somewhere to raise awareness about what's going on by people using very cleverly designed slick media campaigns to wage a race war, fill up jails, and attack the LGBT community, the Jews, and the African American community who can't speak out for themselves because of the fear these people have them living in.  Even Monica Jones who was targeted by them in Arizona.

IF these people REALLY wanted to DO something about sex trafficking within the United States - then how come for TWO YEARS NOW I can't get one single person in law enforcement to look at the evidence I have against the heads of a multi-national sex trafficking ring, a ring where pimps in other states than California have now been sentenced, who reside in Pasadena, California?  Not a phone call.  Not a email.  Yet I've been told by the author of the RICO act itself that I now have enough evidence to start an investigation at least into these people.  But does Kamala Harris or Dianne Feinstein or any of these people come to me to ask to see this information, and talk to a woman who was carted out of her home by Pasadena cops when she told the ring she wanted to retire where she was then falsely charged with prostitution?  NO.

If these people wanted to DO something about "child prostitutes" - how about doing something about the fact a 16 year old in California can call the police and say she's being "trafficked" or even a victim of statutory rape to block pimps from trying to turn her out, especially if those people are her own parents, foster parents, etc.  Yet that same girl can be loaded into a car, then driven into Nevada, where she can be forced to apply for a brothel prostitute license, then taken to the brothel where BY LAW she can not walk out of that brothel for the first 48 HOURS or she will be ARRESTED.  If these people care so much about "child prostitutes" as to go to all this trouble with this "No Such Thing" campaign - how about doing something to CHANGE THE LAWS OF NEVADA?  Do you see one single word in their campaign about this?  Maybe because the brothels only hire white girls while the black girls get arrested and thrown into juvie as "prostitutes".

Oh but let's not call them that. We can do it - but let's not CALL it that.  If you think that's wrong - then help me please with this.

Jody Williams

When most sex trafficking victims are "turned out" - the pimps give them names like "bitch" or "whore" or even "property".  One member told me her name was “chair” They're told they're not "worthy of a human name".  When other people call them by their birth name - the pimps will remind them "oh no - she's chair now" or whatever the chosen name is.

They are further told to give "stage" or "street" names to their customers - if asked.  Star, Desiree, Tiffany, all are their street, stage or porn names.  It's often not until coming into recovery they are even being called by their birth names. I've had members tell me “wow it's been years since someone called me by my name”.

One of the things we do in Sex Workers Anonymous is to teach them to speak up for themselves, how to express their feelings, and it's safe now to tell people what they really think and feel.  Why?  Because the pimps either silence them, ignore them - or worse beat them violently if they speak "out of turn"  The "johns" could care less what they think or how they feel.  They might pretend to care - and the girls have learned speaking up can mean either a back hand, less money, or even get them thrown out into the streets at 2:00 a.m. One woman we know pretended to be a deaf mute during her captivity just to survive.

I don't make any major decisions in our program without taking a 'group conscience'.  This teaches the members their voices are important.  In hearing from everyone and carrying out their wishes - they learn they have value as well as how to speak up for themselves  I'm not going to deny them that voice   So I hope you understand I'm trying to carry their voices out to the public because they can't through this letter.

There has been a “No Such Thing” campaign kicked off asking the general public to call all of us across the board as a specific name.   Our members/survivors were not asked to be included on what word to use, nor anything about the execution of this campaign that asks for us to be identified by a word they've chosen. I'm hoping you can therefore understand by shutting them out of the process of deciding what they want to be called for the rest of their lives – they feel shut out, ostracized and unimportant all over again by this exclusion.

Another problem - is like it or not – this country's legal system can't even agree among the state's what a “child” is let alone what a “victim” is. What do I mean by that? Most people in this country think that anyone under the age of 18 years old is a “child”. However, in Nevada the legal age for giving consent for sex is 15 years old.

Many people also don't realize the licensing board for the legal brothels in Nevada state that “anyone over the age of 16 years old” an apply to work as a legal prostitute. Meaning a 16 year old in California would be called a “victim” - while that same exact 16 year old in a Nevada brothel would be considered a “legal prostitute”. If they worked next door in the strip club they would in fact be a “sex worker” That's not an opinion – but a fact. Now if people find that offensive – then they need to be changing the laws – not the words.

So we would like to see some of the press directed onto the fact that many people are assuming that EVERY state has the legal age of 18 years old - but they don't.  There's also strip clubs in NJ that hire 16 year olds so this is't an attack upon Nevada.  The girls in these legal establishments CAN'T call 911 or go into a sex trafficking program and CAN'T receive “victim” services until the law, not the word, changes.

I also can state for a fact "sex trafficking shelters" are actually letting pimps work those same victims in strip clubs and massage parlors because it's "legal".  So we have a lot of words in the English language that need to be examined in this issue. Now WE are grown enough in our recovery to DEMAND decisions affecting OUR lives INCLUDE us. As founder of this movement – I PERSONALLY DEMAND discussions involving the movement I founded include me as well.

Now if you want to call me “crazy” or “stupid” or “hostile” because of this demand – then I'm going to consider you a “pimp”. How's that for a “campaign about words”?

Jody Williams founded the modern day sex trafficking movement on August 15, 1987. The day of the Harmonic Convergence she turned on the hotline, open up the first 12 step program for those recovering from any part of the sex industry, male, female or transgender – and stepped up on that first talk show stage demanding this country change in order to respond to their calls for help.

Before Google - if you were a wealthy, famous, or powerful man who couldn't risk something like what happened to the Secret Service down in Columbia happens when you pick up a street walker, or what happened to Steve Sassa when an escort's pimp was blackmailing him, or when Donald Banks got blackmailed by Teofil for $500,000 - the sex industry had madams.

Madams allowed students, aspiring lawyers, house wives, writers, and anyone who wanted to work as an escort without fear of records of phone numbers or ads coming back to haunt them years down the road - would work for a madam so they could maintain their confidentiality.  They also worked for madams because the calls were pre-screened and they knew what they were walking into as they walked in to it.  That's what they paid for.  Madams had "black books" of clients they did business with regularly so they knew who they were sending young girls, or boys (think American Gigolo), into seeing.  So there wasn't any real danger - usually.  If a guy was dangerous - the madam knew about it and would "black list" them.  Ethical ones anyway.

The clients paid the money to maintain discretion.  If the prostitute would steal something - I'd take it back to the client because I wanted his repeat business.  If one of the girls got sick - I'd make a discrete phone call to him rather than the health department.  If one of the women started even thinking about blackmail - I'd threaten to blacklist her out of the business.  Because again I had a regular clientele I wanted to keep happy and keep coming back.  These men could come to my house I'd set up so these women, and men, wouldn't know the clients real names, or have anything they could blackmail them with again like we saw with the Donald Banks case.  If he'd paid a madam in the old days - that whole scandal would not have happened.  If it had been attempted - we'd go deal with it, get his money back, and that would have been the end of it.  So if you think about it - confidentiality has always been a big deal to me.

But again the internet has changed things.  Now one thing also used to happen with madams that I talk about with Iran Contra with me, and other things.  I was approached by men within our own government wanting information on girls who had no family who would question their disappearance.  They wanted white girls, blue eyes preferable, without a drug problem, and who didn't have anyone who would miss them if they were to disappear.

I was offered $25,000 a woman and told all I had to do was send her on an appointment where they'd be waiting with chloraform to knock her out.  Then she'd be loaded onto a diplomat's plane which is not stopped or searched.  Thinking if this was real I needed to stop it - I asked to know more details.  I was then shown everything about the operation - including that the women were being sold or traded for oil deals, government contracts, trade secrets, drug deals, etc.  For all I knew - this was a set-up to see if I'd bite.  Maybe it was just some guy yanking my chain.  So to see if this was for real - I asked to see more of the operation by pretending to entertain their offer.

Once I saw this was real, and had names, addresses, planes even - I of course then went to law enforcement who didn't believe me.  Remember, we as a world didn't believe sex trafficking existed in the 1970's and 1980's.  So I set up my own security to protect us - hence why I had a warehouse by the police station that was armed with security equipment, cameras, a computer, etc.  ( for clippings).

Now I refused to make these deals because I'm just not that kind of person.  Because I refused I was told I had better comply or they would "arrest me and take everything I earned and wipe me out" which is exactly what they did.  Then they tried to make a movie glamorizing me as they'd done with Dolly Pardon and the madam down in Texas who ran the "Chicken Ranch".

Only I began to notice a pattern.

I watched that film, and others like the "Happy Hooker", (which in today's world would be Magic Mike XXL), and it enticed me into the business.  I then started seeing the other madams who were arrested having the same type of movie produced.  I then went to each of them from the Beverly Hills Madam, the Hollywood Madam, and the Mayflower Madam to name a few and asked them why they let such an unrealistic movie be made about them.

In each case I heard "who cares about the truth - I got paid".  Okay that's my answer.  I began to see these films as "inphomercials" to entice others to replace us - just as Heidi Fleiss then thought she could rise up and replace Alex and me.  Because of course "she's smarter" than us and "could make it work" as every addict tells themselves.

Even Jeane Palfrey had the same experience.  We heard about this when I knew her and even from Montgomery Sibley in his interview with us.  When she refused to sell women for government deals - they busted her, took everything she owned, and I believe killed her to silence her when she was trying to warn us.  Again, she refused a plea bargain to walk because she wanted to get the proof out there in her phone records of what was happening.

But the internet has pretty much wiped out the madam.  The porn industry has "agents".  Strippers have "managers".  But madams are pretty much extinct.  Prostitutes can use google phones, and hushemails, and run ads where they "anonymize" their email address while TOR can "anonymize" your IP address.

So what replaces us with respect to who is going to funnel information on men and women in the sex industry to men like I witnessed if the days of the madam are over?

I invite you to read this article very carefully.  This computer system database is not just in Las Vegas either.  When Rick Rizzolo was in custody in California - there was an Orange County Sheriff who was busted,  and his computer privileges revoked because he was supposedly selling information to Rick    on people in the porn and strip industry out of this computer spoken about in this article here -

Now - notice how this computer in Orange County also says it has in it's database a list of "informants".  As I've told you in previous blogs, I was approached by law enforcement years ago and offered a monthly salary in exchange for being an informant because of answering our hotline and running many of our meetings, and talking to our members all over the USA.  I refused.

Welcome to Abeni, and the Cupcake Girls, as well as groups run by D'Lita Miller, Safe Passage who was working with Kevin Brown, etc.   Here's some links to these types of groups that have popped up since 2013 and and

Please notice what each of these group's has in common - a connection with law enforcement and also with the state legislature.

Cupcake Girls - Nevada legislature.!A-Step-Forward-for-Sex-Trafficking-Survivors/cmbz/556fa0860cf219f177242529  Notice Assemblyman John Hambrick is backing them.  Only John Hambrick also backed Congo Justice who pushed to get AB67 pushed through while ignoring members of Sex Workers Anonymous who were strongly objecting, as well as SWOP members according to Jennifer Reed.  I also have a videotape of an SWA member, Aubrey, who spoke to the Nevada legislature against AB67, and also to stop the brothel expansion into Las Vegas to John Hambrick directly and he is on the videotape speaking to her - that he later than denied any knowledge of that very evening on his Facebook page.  (Aubrey stood up to George alone to defeat this bill that wasn't even listed on the calendar - and we won.  Do you see her or our name here as credited?)

When I showed him the recording to prove he knew this woman and spoke to her - he blocked me off his Facebook page.  So no - Assemblyman John Hambrick is NOT the sex trafficking victim's friend.  But here he is pushing the Cupcake Girls with this phony claim that "they can't find work because of a trespassing charge".  Every casino in Nevada WILL hire someone with such a charge - and the only thing that is blocked from them in Nevada to my knowledge because of a prostitution arrest is to get a license to work at the legal brothels.

Let's look at Abeni.  They're listed as connected to the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force.  Right here on their staff directory -

Safe Passage -  Founded by a retired cop who had partnered with Kevin Brown, another ex-cop.

Seeing a pattern here yet?

Notice something else - what's lacking?

I don't see Sex Workers Anonymous listed on this task force, nor anything to do with these groups.  In fact, each one of these groups has blocked me when I contacted them upon hearing of them to find out what they do for our hotline.  Now if they don't like SWA that's one thing.  But I do answer the only hotline currently for adults who are not just trafficking victims - but want to leave, and recover, from the sex industry in any form.  I can't do everything - so I give out referrals.

I hear about a new group and I reach out to them to find out what they do so I can give out referrals.  Only when I reached out to all three of these groups, Cupcake Girls, Abeni and Safe Passage - I not only got shut down, blocked and blown off but Meg from Abeni even started telling people that I was "stalking her, threatening her, and she was scared to leave her house for fear of me".  Why?  I can show you a transcript of the whole conversation if you'd like and tell me if my asking questions about what Abeni does would inspire you to have so much fear you'd be asking people where I live so you can swear out a warrant on me. You know with this much grant money at stake - people can get really weird let me tell you when it comes to "economic interference" as the law states and for which a lawsuit is being drawn up against these groups by the way as we speak.

Which I won't publish the conversation here because she has photos of her children of her facebook page.  Now if she wants to claim she's helping sex trafficking victims while posting photos of her children and risk their safety like that - that's her decision.  But I'm not going to play into it simply because I think she's a fraud.  If she was helping these victims - trust me someone would be threatening her children and those photos would not be online.  But maybe she's just stupid - so I'm not going to publish them.  You'll notice I don't publish any photos of my daughter anywhere despite how beautiful she is because I care about her safety.  She's not even "friended" on my social media for that reason.

But both Orange County and Las Vegas have computer databases where information on people in the sex industry is listed.  It's not "official" and Slate says it's also a database of informants.  If you saw the series on TV recently about the man who infiltrated the Hell's Angels - then you have an idea how informants work.  They gain your trust, pump you for information, and then as we saw in the Rick "Freeway" Ross case - they also set you up to get arrested and put away for life.

If you read his story - while enticing people into investing in him being an "at risk community rebuilder" he also still spoke to someone who was an informant.  This informant then threatened to kill someone supposedly to get him to agree to return to crime.  However, I know good and well from experience he could have gone to someone and agreed to put a wire on that informant, have him arrested and sent off to jail.  Certainly someone with all his connections could have done that.  But no - he went ahead and got himself arrested again.  There's also allegations that Rick Ross is even a "snitch".

My point about the informant here is this clipping shows proof that some guy was walking around on a $40,000 a year salary to do nothing but go around setting people up.

Our organization goes to great lengths to protect the confidentiality and "anonymity" of our members.  We don't sell our Recovery Guide on Amazon for one reason - Amazon can turn over a list of the buyers to law enforcement if they wanted to.  Now do only members of SWA buy the book?  No.  But some do.  So that I protect those members - I self-publish and sell the book myself.  I then burn the bank information.

It's probably why I'm now on the "second generation" of victims in our work.  What I mean by that is that I'm now getting calls for help from mothers we helped in the 80's and 90's who are now finding their kids being trafficked and want to call someone they trust for help - so they call us.

There's another group who protects the confidentiality of their clients -  They do NOT take federal grants, nor are they structured in such a way where they can be audited by an outside group that would reveal donor, client, or other information on people who call their hotline, or go into her program.

Notice a pattern?  That the same places that DON'T list us - also aren't listing Children of the Night.  So is this personal against me?  Nope.  We're not affiliated with CON or Lois Lee in any way.  I've never even met the woman in person.  So it's not personal against us nor against them.

What's the common denominator?  Abeni claims to not be faith based - although the other groups are. So it's not that we aren't faith based.

So what's the common denominator?  We protect the anonymity of those we help.  That's one thing.  We also aren't using these people as research data - but actually helping them.  Nor are we pumping them for information and then casting them aside - we're actually helping them.  Hence the common denominator.

Now here's something interesting.  I got a call from a woman who says she connected to the Cupcake Girls in Vegas when they were in a strip club doing make-overs for the strippers.  She got pretty pissed because she says she can't get a job outside of prostitution because she's from another country and she can't get her birth certificate - so she can't get an ID and thus can't work.  But rather than help her - they're giving make-overs and blew her off when she asked them for help.

Now I'd like to add in strip clubs they have undercover cameras that take your photo.  If she asked for help from the Cupcake Girls inside that club - she gave them contact information.  There's also cameras inside the clubs which can easily go back and take her photo after she'd identified herself to this Cupcake Girl rep.

But here's a little known fact - if someone gets your photo they can put that photo into security cameras that are in casinos like the Cosmopolitan.   That casino takes a photo of your face when you enter the casino.  It's then ran through a database to see if you're a card cheat - or have a warrant out.  Then they alert security  so that you're to be escorted out of the casino.

Now this woman told me she'd been working as a hooker out of the strip casinos for about eight months without one hitch.  Friday night she walks into the Cosmopolitan and security is on her.  She swears she wasn't doing anything but had just walked into the casino.  Then security came up to her and said either she could go with them "willingly or she'd be handcuffed".  I asked her "you do know that's kidnapping right if they try to restrain you or hold you without being arrested?" To which she said "but they were going to hand cuff me".  Well she still complied so technically she gave them consent.

She then told me the same story I've heard 1000 times out of Vegas and other clubs - they were photographed and then told if they "come back again they'll be arrested".  They do this because they don't want accurate records in Nevada for the prostitution activity.  They also don't charge them with prostitution because the law states anyone arrested for prostitution in Nevada has to have an HIV test.
After Nevada prostitutes came back with an 80 percent positive HIV rate  in the 1990's - they stopped arresting most of these women for prostitution.  Instead, they do a 24, 48 or 72 hour hold where they're not even arrested or charged.  They're just held in the jail for that time period - where of course they get paid per day for each day these men and women are in custody.

Now their numbers of HIV positive prostitutes disappears.

What a racket.

If they do charge them with anything - it's trespassing most of the time.  You really got to piss someone off to get arrested for solicitation in Nevada.  I did an informal interview once inside Clark County jail for women and literally half of the women in custody were on a 24, 48 or 72 hour hold where they were told to either accept the hold or have a prostitution arrest on their record.  About 25 percent of the women told me they were not prostituting but they would be so ashamed of a prostitution arrest on their record - they simply took the hold without question rather than risk a record.

What a racket.

But my point being that this is not the first call I've gotten where someone has found themselves magically arrested for something within a very short period of time after talking to the Cupcake Girls.

If you ask me - people have learned a lot from watching me - but they're doing it the wrong way.  In 2012, I spoke to someone who worked at Polaris.  I explained there was a woman who wouldn't leave the pimp's house or watchful eye except when she was on a call.  To extract her from the pimp - we'd set up a fake appointment with a volunteer who pretended to be a customer.  We found a hotel where we could take her out of the window of the room (not easy when most windows nowadays don't open in motels), to get her away from the pimp.  I had explained the "sting" to Polaris - and then interestingly I see the premise of "8 Minutes" pop up with the whole "john sting" idea in a motel setting.

Not unlike how I sent a letter to NBC about how we'd also find out trafficking information by going online and pretending to be a young pretty girl to flush out the pimps.  A year later - we see Chris Hanson with "To Catch a Predator".

These people also know that members talk in our meetings about their lives, and what they've gone through.  They know or they wouldn't have approached me to pay me as an informant.  They came to me in the late 1990's and asked me for "research data".  When I refused - well we have Polaris now don't we?  Who doesn't do anything that 911 doesn't do.

Let me explain.  When we started this work in 1987 - we went to the police and we asked them how many murder victims were prostitutes.   They told us "we don't keep records like that".  Okay.  I then went to the ER and asked them how many of the violent attacks they treated were victims of pimps vs. a husband or boyfriend.  They said "we don't keep records like that".  I contacted the Rape Hotline and asked them "how any of your rapes are prostitutes being raped on the job?"  To which I heard "we don't keep records like that".   I then went to the jail and asked them how many of their inmates were prostitutes.  We were told "we don't keep records like that".    I went to the drug treatment centers and asked them "how many of your clients are prostitutes?"  To which I heard "we don't keep records like that?"  And so on.

Frustrated, and remember I was 25 years old at this time and very naive about how the system works - I asked "well can we?"  To which I got explained about the 5th amendment right now to "incriminate yourself".   So basically the police, the treatment centers, the hospitals, doctors, counselors all told me "we aren't going to ask if they're prostitutes on our forms because then we're asking them to admit to a crime - which is a violation of their constitutional rights".

I then said "can we ask them anyway and see if they'll tell us voluntarily?"  For which they said "if we ask - then we have to mirandize them under the law because it's incriminating.  Also, if we ask them and they say yes then we're obligated to report this to the police.  We don't want to do that - it's a whole can of worms."  Ok got it.

So now we have this:

They explained that if they started asking and then made the required report to the police about their answer  - that the fear was the prostitute wouldn't seek help for drug abuse, rape, violence, etc.  I then asked "well what's the difference between saying I'm an addict vs. saying I'm a prostitute?"   Isn't it a crime to say you're using illegal drugs?

To which I got informed there are laws in place federally that state once you ask for help for drug treatment, rape or domestic violence - the laws of confidentiality go into place.  Here's information on some of those laws.

But mind you in 1987 - we had no federal recognition that sex trafficking was even real.  We didn't get federal recognition until the year 2000.   Which means we aren't going to get laws passed about the confidentiality of people seeking help until we get it recognized as real - which again didn't happen until the year 2000.  Then magically in 2002 - we get the National Trafficking Hotline.

So for a long time I tried to figure out why is the Polaris Hotline basically taking information but not doing anything for the caller?  Then it clicked - data.  You get raped and call them and identify.  Then they turn you over to law enforcement for help - but Polaris now got the data on a prostitute being raped that the police report doesn't note.

Am I wrong?  They sure get a lot of research grant money.

Polaris has acknowledged problems with the 5th amendment and their hotline.  They said to me that's "why we don't record calls unless asked to" and also said "we don't refer anyone to law enforcement unless they ask".  But this is an acknowledgment they know that what these people are saying to them essentially is a form of incrimination.

Meaning can someone in law enforcement go in and pull their 800 phone number phone logs and identify who called them against their wishes?  Absolutely.  Not something they're going to shout from the roof tops by the way along with those billboards - that yes law enforcement can issue a warrant or subpoena for their phone logs and get data on the phone numbers of people who have called them for help that are not protected under the same laws that addicts and alcoholics have in place when they call for help.

Now you know why I publish my home cell phone number along with our 800 number where someone can call my private home phone number from a blocked number.  By being an ordained minister, by using my private home phone to take calls, and by not using an 800 number that records your incoming phone number automatically on a log when you call us - no one can pull our phone records without obtaining a warrant first.  So if I hear one more person say to me "well you don't have a business line so you must not be legit" I'm going to scream.  I have a residential line so that I can protect the information on the callers to our hotline and therefore I will get calls that the other hotlines who don't - well don't.

Now I ask you - if I take these precautions to protect you so that you can come forward for help without worrying about it coming back to bite you, or to ask people who know about trafficking to call me and tip me off to it without fear of anyone finding out they told us - what about these people who say they want to help you, care about you, but don't take these steps?  Even Polaris is trying to protect you by not recording calls, and not turning over any information to law enforcement unless you ask them to (except of course where required by law such as when a child is in danger, etc.)?

Cupcake Girls?  Abeni?  Safe Passage?

How much is this data worth?  I contacted a group out in Los Angeles when I saw a big press release about them doing an outreach campaign to look for victims.  I assumed if they were doing this - then they had some resources available.  Since I'm preparing to do an outreach in Los Angeles - I wanted to find out what resources they had so if a victim says to me "yeah I want out of here" I know where I can put them.  Because I don't do outreach unless I have somewhere to take them.  Hearing they're doing outreach - I assumed they had somewhere to take them.

So I called them to ask about this.  I'd also read that Orange County had just received $400,000 to provide housing for victims     and Los Angeles had received $1,000,000 for housing for victims -    so I'm assuming they're tapping into this fund.  I can't get any information from anyone on where this housing is - so I'm assuming they'll tell me. and and  and  and  and  and and

Only I was told "oh we have a year waiting list for help".  Now wait a minute - you just announced you're doing outreach.  Why do that if you have a year waiting list?  Oh because we need to build the waiting list.  Why?  Because with a bigger list - we can get more money.  (Looking at all these grants that are offering money to work with trafficking victims - are you beginning to see why they're getting pretty desperate at finding those victims enough to possibly set up "fake support groups" to flush them out?)

This doesn't seem fair to me.  Go in and ask a victim if they want help.  Then when they say "yes" you say "ok here's a waiting list for a year".  Are you kidding me?

So I asked this woman - look I don't have housing and I don't believe in a safe house system anyway because the pimps just locate it and then target it.  So how about I come in and show your volunteers how we get housing immediately and bang names off that waiting list?

To which she said "oh no".  Huh?

"Well we need to build the list bigger so we can raise more money".  To which I then saw them put together a celebrity laden event where a plate was $50,000.  The cheapest plate to attend was $250.  So I asked them if I could get a free pass donated so one of our members could come and see how they put together an event like this - maybe it would help us learn how to fund raise.

We were denied.

So the founder of Sex Workers Anonymous can't even get a free seat at a sex trafficking luncheon.  Wow.  I need to get off the phone talking to real victims of trafficking who need help and I need to learn how to put together a $50,000 a plate luncheon to raise money by telling people I can't help these victims.

Or do I?  What are your thoughts?  Because frankly I'm getting tired of people comparing me to these groups who spend all of their time fund raising about how I don't have bells and whistles that they do because they have money and I don't.  So you tell me - because I can't do both.  I can't smooze and fund raise AND do the work that I do with this hotline and program for our members to be here for that second generation now who is calling me for help.

So you tell me.
