Re:       Cease and Desist with Erroneous Public Relations on our Behalf

Dear PACE:

I’m receiving an increasing amount of phone calls from people who say they have come to your facility to inquire about a meeting space to host a Sex Workers Anonymous meeting, only to get a very “chilly” greeting, and then told gruffly “sorry we’re not a RESCUE organization like that” before being shown the door.  You are completely entirely utterly 100 % incorrect about what we are and your spreading of defamatory lies about us needs to stop immediately.

In 2015, a show aired called “8 Minutes”.  It was posed as a “reality show” showing a retired cop turned minister who was supposedly setting up phony “dates” off Backpage where he then offered “trafficking victims” a chance to be “rescued” into a program he claimed to be running out in Arizona.  Only the whole thing was an absolute LIE.  There was no program.  He couldn’t possibly have formed the church after he retired as claimed because it was actually incorporated in 1994.  The people on the show were paid actors pretending to be victims, and the show was done to create bad publicity to support lawsuits that were being launched against Backpage.  It was just one in a long string of “fake” shows created courtesy of Shared Hope who brought us such hit fakes as Samoly Mam to name but one.

I watched the first two episodes of this program and was horrified to see one Hispanic woman after another coming on the show crying about how she was a “junkie” and “lost her kids” and how some “pimp” was forcing her to advertise on Backpage (Backpage emphasized).  To say it created a horrible misconception about sex workers was an understatement, as well as what the term “rescue” was supposed to even mean at one time.  I was pretty disgusted, but since I run a 12 step program, I’m not supposed to “engage in public controversy”, so I just turned the channel and went on about my business.

However, I received a phone call from a woman who was paid to be in this show.  She claimed that the producers had promised to not show her face, but they were now showing her face.  Evidently, she was not a native to this country and she had two small children.  Her fear was that if her face were to appear on this show portrayed as a “prostitute”, that she would be deported, and lose her children since they were born here in the states.  She asked me to help her stop them from airing the next episode of the series which would literally destroy her life.

I explained to her that my group is only there to provide help to ex-sex workers, and therefore while I was sorry about the position she was in, I could not help her.  She then told me she had been a prostitute before in Brazil, before coming to this country.  That she really was an ex-sex worker, and that this show was about to destroy the new life she had created for herself now in Texas – again asking me to assist her in stopping the producers from airing the show with her face that was supposed to air in a matter of days.

I have worked as a paralegal since I left the sex industry in 1985, so I had to think to myself what could possibly convince the producers to not air that next episode like she was asking me to do for her.  I then sat down and threatened to sue them for a “defamacast” if they did not take down all episodes of the show offline, and blur the faces of any future shows to be aired.  What a “defamacast” is in laymans’ terms is what you can sue for when a TV show is portraying a certain job or class of people in general in a defamatory way.   If this really was “reality”, that’s one thing. But the people had paid for actors to create a “fake” show.  In doing the show this way, the images they were portraying of not only sex workers, but also that of minority women who were single mothers were both defaming both groups of women deliberately and with intent.  I put in this letter that they needed to take the show off the air, or blur the faces of the women, within 24 hours (before the next show was set to air), or I would respond by going to court and asking for an injunction to accomplish them not airing this woman’s face.

Within four hours, the whole site was down on the A&E site for the show.  The reason the site was down was because I had made comments about the “defamacast’ lawsuit so that viewers would know what was going on.  They legally could not remove my comments without infringing on my free speech, so they took down the site.  Buzzfeed then put out an article about the now down site.  A story had to be spun to cover up why this show was now being taken off the air that did not give me credit, or it would have given credence to my potential for a lawsuit over the shows that had already aired.

The next thing I know, I’m hearing about an hour long show on CNN called the “Truth about 8 minutes” which was giving Maxine Doogan credit for taking down the show.  Her reason for why the show was taken off the air was “breach of contract” – claiming that the “women were not provided the services they were promised”.  In other words, it was a cover story to make it appear that the show was REAL – to cover up that these women were paid actors, and the show was staged by them.  Why?  I had no idea because I was just happy this woman wouldn’t have to worry about her face showing on air.

I had no idea what was to come.  There were people who had seen I had threatened with a defamecast lawsuit because it was staged before the site went down.  What I did not know was that Tom London, the producer, had taken investors money to produce the show who he had given the idea this show was in fact REAL.  Therefore, if it got out that the show had been staged by paid actors, he could be sued for fraud and breach of contract for millions of dollars.
To cover himself legally, he immediately went to file for bankruptcy.  However, the investors had heard already that the show had been staged and they were threatening Tom with criminal charges.  To again try and cover himself legally, he had to act fast to make it appear the show was in fact “real”.  To do this, he created a fake lawsuit from three imaginary women against himself that was staged to be filed the day after he filed for bankruptcy.  In the legal world, what this means is that the case will be dismissed because there is no more company.

But the investors were already all over both Tom and Kevin, the so called “minister” who was portrayed in the show because he too had accepted large donations from people who had also been led to believe that there really was a “rescue” program.  There was also another agenda at hand to fool Obama about sex trafficking connected to this show.  A woman named “Lexi” had been portrayed on the show as a “sex trafficking survivor” who was doing the “outreach” to these women.  This Lexi was sponsored to speak at President Obama’s home church as a sex trafficking survivor.  If word got out she was an “actress”, then Shared Hope would also be exposed to POTUS.  Not something they wanted to be embarrassed about, nor face possible fraud charges either.

The real woman behind the story had signed a contract with the producers allowing them to use her face, her name, her likeness, etc., any way they wished.  A campaign started up online with her attacking me profusely.  However, the woman I was speaking to on the phone was not attacking me, but in fact quite grateful for my help.  Confused, I went to her asking why she was attacking me online.  She told me she didn’t even have a computer.  I then read to her what she was supposedly saying about me online at that very minute.  This is when we both realized the show’s producers had a “catfish” version of her online.

To garner her silence, the producers had an attorney contact her offering her $5000 IF she kept her mouth shut.  The attorney was being provided to her thanks to Sex Workers Outreach Project who then offered her another $5000 if she would go along with the phony lawsuit for “breach of contract” so as to make sure no one got sued or charged for fraud over the money they had accepted for investments and donations by people who had been led to believe the show was in fact real.  In other words, SWOP and Relativity Media gave her, or offered her I should say, $10,000 if she would keep her mouth shut and let me be slaughtered online by lies.

I say “offered”, because they did in fact screw her over from what they promised.  I know this because I received another phone call two months later telling me how everything had fallen through and disappeared once the dust settled.  I had warned her that their portrayal of her as a woman without means, homeless, broke, and with two small children would get the attention of CPS after her – which is exactly what happened.  I now had to help her deal with Immigration, CPS, and all these new problems dropped in her lap, which I did.

In this campaign to “cover their ass”, a whole campaign called “rights not rescue” started up online attacking “rescue groups”.  Our name of course was lumped in with this because my actions had put a lot of people in a lot of trouble.  If you google what happened to Tom after this, he not only had to file bankruptcy, but his investors wanted to be repaid anyway, and his partner evidently decided to get rid of him entirely because he was “tired of strippers and porn performers in the office”.

I’m sure you’d heard about how the Russians went online to “affect the election” and “create division and chaos” in America.  What happened was these “catfish” decided to promote themselves as “advocates” in order to get information and intel on American sex workers.  They put themselves out there as “advocates” for the sex industry to get to know as many American sex workers as possible.  To do this, they bashed any group that wasn’t SWOP, whether it was our program, the Salvation Army, whoever it was didn’t matter.

What does matter is everything they said about us was a lie online.  After the lawsuit died down, something else started up.  If you remember, there was this videotape of Planned Parenthood made of them “undercover” that was made to slam them also.  The tape was made by the same people who had made the undercover tape at ACORN.  Anyone who was supported by Obama was on this “hit list” because the financing for these attacks came from Sheldon Adelson.  Sheldon had reportedly spent over $100 million to do anything and everything in his power to undermine Obama, including his human trafficking work.  Which is how we evidently got caught up in the “second wave” of these attacks.

From March of 2015 when this “8 Minutes” scandal evidently caught the eye of these people about us, until the day after the election was over, I was subjected to stalking, death threats, online harassment, you name it.  Anyone who said they were an SWA member was also threatened, stalked, harassed, etc.  It was so bad I had to literally tell everyone in our program not to mention my name, SWA’s name, nothing or risk getting on the “hit list”.  They would get the IP address, follow this person around, and then harass them to the point where they would just go offline entirely.  It was like a war with no blood!

We had to shut down our online meetings, our phone meeting, our forum, everything and anything online had to be shut down because these people were relentless.  Each time I’d get an IP address, I’d identify a private investigator who had been hired to attack and DEFAME  us in any way possible.  If I spoke to someone online, they would shortly after get a phone call or an email “warning” them to “stay away” from us.  At the same time this was happening, I was being bombarded by people trying to not only infiltrate our meetings, but also access everything about us.  They wanted to know where we had chapters, how many members we had, who was supporting our work, etc.  It was clear a dossier was being created on us by Fusion GPS.

During this time, a lot of lies were being spread about us.  These lies were that we were a “rescue” group.  WE ARE NOT A RESCUE GROUP.  What you’ve heard clearly is the lies these people spread about us as covers for what they were up to.  So to clarify this, I would appreciate it if you would stop doing their job for them of continuing to spread the lies they started by saying we “are a rescue group”.  No offense – but I don’t know any of you who work at PACE now.  I don’t think any of you have been to any of our meetings, talked to me, read our book, been sponsored by anyone in our program, etc.

Have I engaged in “rescues” when asked.  Yes.  Has Paige been a “rescuer” who founded PACE?  Yes.  In fact, your origins are because Paige Latin wanted to set up a drop in center and a house where women could go and escape pimps if you remember so your origins are based in Paige’s desire to start a “rescue” program.  However, does that have jack shit to do with me?  NO IT DOESN’T.

Sex Workers Anonymous takes a LOT of heat by these rescue groups just like you are because of our views and our name.  They actually hired people to try and convince me to change our name to “Sex Trafficking Anonymous”.  I refused.  In 2007, they came to me and offered me a $120,000 a year job to do just this – to set up a system for the correctional systems in the USA where we only, and solely, address sex work as “sex trafficking”.  I refused.

When I refused, they attempted to take over our program away from me.  I learned that after Bill Wilson had started Alcoholics Anonymous, the government came in and basically took over the program from him.  In fact, at one point Bill was blacklisted from the Grapevine, from the AA General Office, and from even speaking at his own program by these people.  In revolt to this, Jimmy Kinnon founded Narcotics Anonymous.  In 1991, these people came to Jimmy and asked him to help them create drug courts, drug programs, etc.  Jimmy refused and he was illegally voted out of the office he created, and then anyone and everyone he knew was blacklisted, run out of the service structure, etc., while they took over control of NA and it’s multi-million dollar now budget they were receiving by partnering with the government to set up drug courts.

When I refused to transform SWA into a “trafficking court” and to set up programs like Project Rose all over the country, THEY set about to do the same thing to me that was done to Bill and Jimmy – that was to smear me and take over the program helm.  However, because I had seen them do this to Bill and Jimmy, I was prepared for this “hostile take over”.  A group of women out of Arizona who were connected to Project Rose had started smearing my name to the fellowship, talking about why THEY needed to be put in control of the program, and they in fact did attempt to take the program away from me so they could transform it into a “trafficking and rescue” program like is being spread around the world at the moment.

I pushed these people back and have maintained control of Sex Workers Anonymous who does NOT “have an opinion on outside issues”.  I do not therefore have any “opinion” on the sex industry as to whether or not someone is being “forced” or “trafficked” or acting “voluntarily”.  We take one stance and one stance only – that is if you decide you want to exit any part of the sex industry FOR ANY REASON, then we are here to help you with THAT.  Just as Alcoholics Anonymous does not come out on any stance against alcohol, nor does Narcotics Anonymous come out on any stance against drugs of any kind, they also are only, and solely, there to help those who want help to stop using to do so.

Which is why we are NOT a “rescue program”.  We do not go out into strip clubs offering bags of goodies to try and lure pregnant women into adoption mills we set up so we can exploit these women for donations.  We don’t set up houses where we make the women make handicrafts and sell them online while promoting these women as “victims”.  Our members are varied as is AA.  Our members may be Playboy Bunnies, strippers, porn performers, etc.  Our members come to us homeless, and in million dollar houses driving Ferrari’s.  Our members are male, female, transgender, LGBT, whatever they are they are.  We do not limit our group to only women.

Including the fact that not all of our members have pimps or are trafficked.  Some however are.  We don’t make distinctions between who comes to our program and who does not.

I however can’t control some of the actions of these other groups who have used our name against my wishes, and even legal directives, such as Project Rose to name only one.  I was clueless to the fact Project Rose was using our name, our original name of Prostitutes Anonymous, until I started receiving complaints about this.  They were hiding this fact from me because they knew it was illegal obviously.  When I found out about it, I delivered to them a “cease and desist” letter.  They then lied to me and said they had stopped holding meetings they were calling Prostitutes Anonymous, but I heard back reports they still were from the members.  Okay so what do I do about it now?  Sue them?  I’ve considered it and still am considering it.

Why?  Because they perpetuate this misconceptions you even have fallen prey to which is that we are a “rescue” group.  So I will repeat WE ARE NOT A RESCUE GROUP.  We are not a TRAFFICKING group.  Now from time to time I have assisted someone to escape a pimp or an organized trafficker.  To assist them, we have created a separate program called Trafficking and Prostitution Services so that we don’t mix the two programs with each other.  Which means yes if a parent or spouse come to me saying they want to “rescue” their loved one from a horrible pimp, then yes I will help that person.  Does that mean that SWA is a “rescue group”?  No.

So I would appreciate it that you please circulate this memo to your staff who answer the phone, are at the desk, and would otherwise keep repeating to people who come to you that are stating to people “we are a rescue group” to please cease and desist.  We are a 12 step group no different than AA or NA.  We don’t go out dragging anyone into our meetings.  We have no opinion for now against the sex industry.  And trust me to stand up to the pressure these high dollar groups are putting on us to join them in attacking the industry is war enough without me having to fight your program too in the process who started these rumors SPECIFICALLY TO CREATE JUST THIS DIVISION BETWEEN US.

So if you want them to win, you go on acting like you are in some kind of opposition to us.  If you really want to piss them off, you will resume the once neutral position we once enjoyed before they started their little campaign to create division amongst us.  As our Vancouver group builds and grows, I would appreciate you treating them with more respect and courtesy instead of distain.  I would like to remind you that at any given moment, one of these SWA members could return to the industry and become a sex worker again.  I’m not going to force them to identify as “in” or “out” in order to garner polite treatment from you because that’s incriminating them.  Also, an alcoholic can also care about the way people are treated by the alcohol industry, so when one of our members does care about the current treatment of sex workers and wants to assist changing those conditions, I would also appreciate it if you would not treat them like the enemy either because they’re not.

If you have any questions or comments to this letter, please feel free to contact me.

Dear Melissa:

In reading about what happened with Janet - I thought you might like a copy of the email I just sent her inviting her to open up a dialogue with us over here at Sex Workers Anonymous.

Now before you go jumping to any conclusions about who or what you "think" we are - I invite you to read the email herein.  I also want to ask you to look at the kinds of "counter" campaigns that have been launched by corporations such as Monsanto into attacking their protesters for a moment also.

After reading about what they do to protect their interests -  I want to ask you if you think after all of the successful ground we were making over a 30 year span of time if you can consider that maybe, just maybe, everything you've been "told" to you about us just isn't true?

IF these groups put so much money into the concept of "saving" us and that we need "rescue" to the tune of even creating a whole fake person with "Samoly Mam" just to get someone to run around mouthing their views while pretending to be someone she wasn't, even coaching little children to lie about who they were - do you not think it's just as real that they might also be engaging in a "counter" campaign to try and smear us to "divide and conquer"?

It's quite common you know to stir up fake social media against one's enemies these days as evidenced by what happened to KFC when attacked by a Chinese marketing company -

Now I ask you to consider for a moment - what if - just what if - that statement had been released with words printed as Janet's words which were not her actual words what the reaction might be if somehow during this event you witnessed with your own eyes - what if someone had planted the words saying that Janet had "called to outlaw the sex industry" as was done to me in 2007 at a press conference I was invited to participate in under deceptive pretenses I learned too late in fact about.

What do you think the phones would be like the next day had those words gone out attributed falsely to Janet?  Now a lot of years has passed in 2007 to 2017 - ten years.  Imagine if this kind of war in the media to try and maintain what her real views are has been a war waging for 10 years?  Now I've managed to get about 99 % of the false statements, even the "fake documentaries" taken off social media - but I also can't calm down and explain myself to some people who are so upset they won't listen to my explanations "those aren't my words" either.

Meaning before you jump to any conclusion about what or who you think I or the hotline/program I run stands for in reality - I ask you to please consider that before forming that opinion you and I might personally speak to each other even first for two minutes?  Something neither you nor Janet and I have done yet to date have we?

I have to say I admire REPUTABLE investigative reporters such as John Quinones to name just one from ABC's "What Would You Do?", or even Bob Herbert who used to have an opt-ed column with the Ny Times.  Why?  Because in 2007 with Bob and 2009 with John - these men didn't listen to what ANYONE said about us, not even me.  They each got into a plane and then a car to personally come out to Las Vegas.

After coming to where I lived at that time, they then spent time meeting with me, coming to my home, meeting with SWA members, watching how we operated over time, and John even spent time meeting with my daughter, talking to my landlord - I mean doing a very THOROUGH investigation into me and SWA's operations.  The results of their work was shown in the positive articles/chapters they then published about SWA and myself which I also have up on

Which even that nickname "high tech madam" is misleading by the way.  Yes I was arrested for supposedly "running a brothel" with my mother in 1984 but the truth is that wasn't what that warehouse was at all.  Yes it had been the site of an illegal brothel at one time.  Yes I had been working as an escort and madam during 1984.  However, that warehouse had been converted into the first "safe house" in the USA for adult victims needing a place to escape sex trafficking.  Now hold on a minute because I'm NOT saying "pimps".  If one needed to stop a pimp in 1987 all one had to do was pick up the phone and call 911.

I didn't need a warehouse in an industrial section of town equipped with expensive sophisticated surveillance equipment nor high tech security equipment either next to the police station to operate a "brothel".  That was an excuse to get into the place where the LAPD then tore up my video cameras, destroying some evidence I had against them and other people such as Chuck Barris and our own CIA.

To understand who and what I was trying to keep safe and hide there - you need to read up on Iran Contra, the Hillside Strangler case which was actually two pimps targeting "square" girls for abuse and then transforming them into prostitutes in order to invalidate their testimony against them before they evolved into murder, and also more about Chuck Barris and his ties to the CIA you can read about in "Confessions of a Dangerous Mind".

I was also arrested so that the LAPD could spread the rumor I was "going to turn on people" to try and make my friends and supporters "run" to the hills to protect themselves from incrimination and/or prosecution.  At the time, the news hadn't broke yet that I was helping to launder money for prostitutes on movie sets through their budgets we were helping to draw up at Paramount Studios for example.

See even then the authorities were trying to "divide and conquer" in order to get control over people and what they wanted to have happen - happen using fear, rumors, smear campaigns, etc.  Because that's how the other side works - to "divide and conquer" us from moving this movement forward.  They did it to get my "safe house" shut down and wipe out my evidence against them then, also chasing off any supporters I might have at that time.  They also arrested all the other madams at our level in 1984 - go on and check it out on Google and you'll find ALL of us from the east coast to the west coast were arrested in 1984.  Partly to again "divide and conquer" the alliances we had built up talking to each other about what we were going to do about what the police were doing to us back then.  Elizabeth Adams was arrested in 1984 with me, and then promptly got herself introduced to Heidi Fleiss that same year.  Mayflower Madam arrested 1984.

Cheri Woods was arrested in 1985 in this article - but I also know she was arrested in 1984 when she was six months pregnant at the time.

This article talks about how in 1984 100's of prostitutes were targeted for arrest "In the first two months of 1984, police arrested 443 men and women for prostitution related charges, but with no apparent change."
I think you see see by just these links there was an organized effort going on in the USA in 1984 to "divide and conquer" the alliance we had built up amongst the madams to try and "network" a communication line between all of us during a time when we had no internet nor cell phones.  Lines which were broken up during 1984 deliberately by these arrests.  Something again which has been targeted to this community starting back in 2007 when I refused to mouth certain "untruths" during an international press conference I had agreed to appear at and involve SWA with.  Had not my mother just died back then, I doubt I wouldn't have so "off" my normal intuition and wouldn't have done the whole thing in the first place - but it's done.  I was asked to do this because of the progress and headway our program had been creating,

Especially with the headway we were making up to 2007 that started the whole riff I'm talking about here.  So I'll also invite you to please check this out and call me sometime at (702) 488-1127.  Like most people who are in the media eye a lot - I'm not quite what I'm painted out to be anymore than Planned Parenthood was accurately portrayed in those hidden videos fabricated against them either by the same EXACT people we're fighting right now in this movement here.

These people came after us when after offering me a substantial amount of money as a salary in a job doing "direct services" to sex workers I was offered back in 2007 -   they then asked me to make that statement about "outlawing sex work" as well as calling out all sex work as "rape" we needed to "all be rescued from".  I refused to make these statements and the backlash ensued.

One that included us in their attacks Melissa because our group has never ever turned their back onto men, minorities, the LGBT communities, nor the transgenders despite their best efforts to try and stamp out any group who did with the TVRA revisions of 2002 by cutting off funding to any group who wouldn't sign that "prostitution clause".  Which is another reason why we stuck to referring to this community as a "sex industry" rather than just that of "prostitutes" because as you know many can be employed in this industry who are not offering intercourse for money such as web cam performers to name just one.  As you know, web cam performers can be just as targeted for abuse and exploitation as "prostitutes".  That's why we wouldn't limit the discussion to just "prostitutes".

The "prostitution clause" mind you written by Randall Tobias.  A man whose name Jeane Palfrey, the D.C. Madam, died trying to break to the public not because he was a "john" but for what he was doing with the prostitution clause AND in light of information she had planned on giving to the ethics commission had she lived to testify there.  Jeanne was not only a member of SWA, but her and I spoke daily for years before her murder.

I also had evidence it was a murder and why it was a murder which had to be blocked from appearing in the press when she was murdered in 2009 just as the media had tried at first to suppress even Randall's name from being validated as even being in her phone logs.

All the more reason why certain people wanted me shut up Melissa.  We were achieving a lot of ground in the sex worker movement until her murder in 2009 proving there was a conspiracy afoot to try and cut off services to the LGBT and transgender communities using this revision as one means to accomplish this, as well as why "johns" were being so heavily "criminalized" as they are now to also silence them in the media.

Pretty serious campaigns if you've seen this Sean Saxon case out of Denver I should add where he got socked with a two million dollar judgment against him as a "john" charging him with a crime for even talking about going to the police with information he had.  Again, don't just so quickly to react to what stories "appear" to be.

I say that because I've been documenting now YEARS of FAKE articles, interviews, documentaries, films, websites, TV shows, even so called "reality series" all demonizing Craigslist or Backpage as the "cause" of sex trafficking falsely that reached such a critical point in my opinion with the series "8 Minutes" i served them with a legal notice of my intent to sue them over that show.  Within 4 hours LITERALLY - the website for the show, and all shows, were taken off the internet.

A fact recorded by Buzzfeed at first who noticed this.  Then 8 hours after getting my legal notice they had released a press statement the show had been "canceled".  Within 12 hours a completely fabricated story was being put together on to CNN where some of the actors were so badly prepared they kept forgetting their own stories - you'll see what I mean if you get a chance to catch the "Truth about 8 Minutes" show sometime how "Dlita Miller" kept forgetting her own story on the show she was such a bad actress.

Why all that to cover up the real reason the show as being canceled as being in response to my legal notice?   I'll show you why - to try and avoid this from happening -  A lot of money, including lawsuits and even federal legislation were riding on the negative portrayals of Backpage as being "real" was involved with that show.  The last thing Relativity Media wanted as me filing an action proving the show was in fact "faked" nor why.

A show that totally promoted the idea we as sex workers across the board as an industry needed "saving" by the way.  A show where the legal notice I served upon Relativity Media that I believe is why they yanked it off the air in response to this notice was because i had threatened to file what's called a "defamacast" class action against them on behalf of not only sex workers but also sex trafficking victims as well being as I'm both myself personally.

Also as an "expert" who has spoken to more of each than anyone else in this dog fight being as I've now personally answered over 500,000 phone calls over 30 years on our hotline - something not you, Janet, nor even Bradley Myles can boast that experience first hand with others who are true life real sex workers and sex trafficking victims domestically.  I said in my notice that the show was "improperly portraying sex workers as being all victims" while on the other hand also "falsely portraying sex trafficking victims as operating out of Backpage which was not true either".

As well as stating that "true life real sex trafficking victim rescue operations are not done by "sting" operations set up off Backpage either as no sex trafficking operation I've ever dealt with or even heard operates  in the manner being portrayed on their scripted staged show falsely representing itself to be a "reality" show designed to mislead the public and con people out of money".

So Melissa - I also invite you to please consider checking this information out, and also calling me sometime personally.  Love to talk to you.  Now you've seen how these people try to alter one's words - maybe you'll understand better where I'm coming from and what these same people did to my voice, and that of the many SWA members our group represents across this country, into Canada, and also in other countries where sex work is legal.  Thanks again for considering this - Jody

Dear Janet - just found your email and decided to write after I heard about how your words were altered, even erased, without your consent on social media today.

That's why I thought I'd reach out - because now you have witnessed and experienced for yourself on a different scale how these people "operate".  Only with our work they've gone to way greater lengths than to simply alter our statements connected to the March.

In fact, when these same powers that be realized back in 2007 that we weren't going to shut up about our true feelings our members of were expressing which contradicted what "they" wanted us to say to support their agenda - they started doing everything in their power to wipe us out completely from even the very involvement in a sex worker movement we had a HUGE part of dating back to the 1980's when it was REALLY tough then to not only have female sex workers' voices heard - but entirely IMPOSSIBLE for that of transgender voices to be heard.

I say that because in 1987 the hotline and program we created was one that not only was for females, for sex workers, but also for those of male, transgender and the LGBT people who comprise all parts of the sex industry.  To show you how revolutionary we were - we created the program originally as "Prostitutes Anonymous".

Why?  To go in the gate grabbing those who had been convicted of prostitution charges by LAPD and to get them released from jail into our custody through the first diversion and alternative sentencing program we had put together which within our first 30 days we had over 400 transgenders, 100 male pimps and 1800 female prostitutes released from the LA jails in 1987.  Because no shelters would provide services to the transgender males, through then mayor Tom Bradley, he found them a house which was turned into the first program for transgender male sex workers.  Only we couldn't call it that directly back then or it would have been fire bombed - but in reality that's what the house was.

Our program also created the first programs for transgender sex workers WITHIN the jails and prisons.  We did this for a few reasons not so obvious at first.  First, as you can imagine male transgender sex workers on hormones were being denied their hormones by the jails/prisons.  They were also considered "discretionary" by the insurance companies and within the jails, prisons, and halfway houses transgender prostitutes were having to be a part of.

Access to getting them proper health care and medications were being denied to them.  We found we couldn't even get visitors in to check on them to make sure they were even okay once on the "inside" of these jails, sober living homes, halfway houses, etc.

We found there were some "loopholes" which allowed that incarcerated inmates could not be denied visits from people such as their (1) attorney, their (2) priest or minister, and/or (3) a 12 step program sponsor.  In fact, many jails and prisons can't legally operate without proper licensing which requires the presence of at least 1 to 2 forms of 12 step meetings.  Inmates are also allowed to keep literature, and/or letters from their attorney, spiritual advisor OR also their "12 step sponsors".

Now finding these loopholes allowed us to start bringing our 12 step meetings into some of the jails/prisons starting in Los Angeles again in 1987.  This allowed us to check in with our males, our transgender, and our LGBT members of the sex industry on the inside of these facilities who were there because of other charges other than prostitution for which we couldn't arrange an early release for them.  These weekly "meetings" were mostly to check up on everyone on the inside to make sure they were okay, they were being allowed their phone calls, given their commissary, talked to their attorney's, and other "check in's" we'd do while there.

Including demanding to see them physically if we were told they were in "isolation".  This allowed us to question their medical care to make sure they were receiving what they needed, give them any mail they might not have received otherwise, deliver communications, and assist them with getting an early release and re-introduction back into the community.

You have to realize not every transgender sex worker on the inside of a jail is a 'drug addict" or "alcoholic".  So many of the privileges these 12 step programs offer to the addict/alcoholic was not afforded the sex workers who didn't have this disease.  Meaning many couldn't have someone check on them, arrange for an early release, help them find housing, work on their visa's, etc.  However, by bringing into the jails/prisons our 12 step program we were able to make sure as many of these amenities and resources as we could to the LGBT, male and transgender sex workers in a way not done otherwise back then.  In fact, I have an early interview with one of our members, Joy, who is an African American transgender from found our program while in custody -

So you'll notice we got ourselves wiped right on out of the whole event entirely.  You at least just found some of your words erased - while we ourselves as a group were erased right out of the entire scene.  Trust me - they've been working on shutting us up for some time now.  But in trying to explain this and why and how to many who haven't seen it - we just come off sounding "crazy".

So when I saw you have now seen this with your own eyes as they did this to you - well that's how they started with us at a press conference we were giving in 2007.  When I refused to mouth the words these people wanted me to say to the press who came to hear our words  - the woman doing the organizing of this event took individual reporters out into the hallway and said we felt this way against our knowledge and wishes.

Of course spurring on a huge warfare that ensued from sex workers who felt we had "betrayed" them by the false statement made by Melissa Farley that we "wanted to abolish sex work" which we didn't say, don't believe, nor do we want.  When I found out what she'd done, I made an immediate retraction and published a statement we were breaking from this woman, why, and that we were not going to have one other thing to do with her.

Statements we issued to sex industry blogs standard in the field at that time such as "Tits & Sass" who published the story, about also news of our breaking away from her, and that we were forming our own group who wasn't going to say such things as "rescue" and/or "call to outlaw the sex industry" as she had tried to put those words in our mouths.  Well blogs such as "Tits & Sass" did such a great job putting out the "word" on her that no other sex worker would grant her an interview after that news broke.

Meaning she had to launch a counter-move.  One that involved taking over the Tits & Sass blog seeing as how everyone read it within the sex industry.  Once having taken it over - these people have every single word of us scrubbed right out of their blog entirely.  Despite having contributed to it since it's launch - overnight all mention of our names even had been scrubbed clean right along with the story about what was done to us during the press conference I'm talking about.

So Janet - you see yourself what we've been up against ourselves with some of these people, and also have they have "their" people walking around everywhere because they also have their "influencers" planted around the movement as well pretending to be other than what they are to gain influence, advantage, and control.

All making sure you don't even know we exist - let alone what our "words" are.  So I'm hoping to open up a dialogue with you further.  Please call me anytime after noon at (702) 488-1127.  Thanks Janet - Jody

ps - don't believe everything you read about us online.  As you know - not all of what's printed online is true or even what it appears to be on sight.  Thanks!

The woman identified as "Kamylla" who is suing "8 Minutes" producers is represented by the attorney Damon Manthias in Texas.  Here is an article about who else this attorney represents -  This is a video I found last night of "Kamylla" voice.  Only this is NOT the voice of the woman I spoke to more than once who was the woman calling herself by this code name.  However, I do recognize the voice.  The voice belongs to a woman who called us up trying to get access into a local meeting of SWA to connect to other members.  I suspected something was "fishy" and wouldn't let her have access.  She got tired and disappeared.  After hearing this video - I know I was being faked out by her obviously and I was right to not trust her story.

This whole thing has turned into some kind of spy movie for God's sake.  I'm attached a letter I wrote to the authorities to investigate this today, along with a copy of a letter I wrote the authorities month ago about these people.  Clearly this scam has taken on huge proportions.  I can't even begin to understand how complex this whole thing is - but one thing is clear.  These people have been scamming money and also trying to attack and shut down programs to help sex trafficking victims through lies and bullying.  What does it make them when they lock help to trafficking victims using lies and bullying?

I am not going to upload the tape I have of the "real" Kamylla because I believe behind her is a very scared woman being bullied by them also.

Dear Connected Parties:

I've attached a letter I'd written previously about an issue that came my direction starting in about March of 2015. To give as short of a summary as I can of the whole situation (which at this point is blowing my mind in all of it's complexity), I was basically minding my business when I received a call from a woman who identified herself as the woman now calling herself by the code name of “Kamylla”. I operate the hot-line for Sex Workers Anonymous, and oversee it's main world service office. We currently have members and chapters in the USA, Canada, and five other countries at this time. I opened the first “safe house” for adult sex trafficking victims in 1984, and then opened the first hot-line for adults to call for help to exit the sex industry, and the related 12 step program in 1987 originally called Prostitutes Anonymous (but is now known as Sex Workers Anonymous).

I was answering the phone when I received a call from this woman with what I think is a Hispanic accent. She identified herself as being from Brazil where prostitution is legal. After telling me a story about the show “8 Minutes” being entirely staged, with her hired as an actress to portray a prostitute to be “saved in 8 minutes”, she further told me she (1) wanted to quit the sex industry, (2) she was being evicted in 2 days, (3) she had a husband, three kids and no car, (4) she claimed to be enrolled in Kathryn Griffin-Townsend's program, (5) she had been arrested for prostitution by the Houston Police, and (6) she was concerned that if her criminal case went badly she'd be deported.

I recorded the call as I record all incoming calls. I do this because we've received death threats over the years as well as in case we need it for investigations into threats our members might receive, or to document tips about child abuse, or suicide threats, or for whatever types of calls have come our way over 30 years of doing these types of calls. Our normal procedure is to delete it once we determine we don't need them. So yes I have the calls on tape. I told her the call was recorded and obtained her consent to play the tape for whoever I deemed necessary to help her case. Her consent and acknowledgment of the recording is clearly on the recording.

During the conversation, I told the woman as a paralegal I could help her fill out the Answer to stay her eviction, I knew people who worked with immigration in Texas we would call on her behalf, that we had SWA members who lived in Houston who were owners of companies who would hire her and her husband despite her legal issues and also would help her with her immigration issues, and that I further knew a SWA member who owned a car lot who could arrange to get her a car on financing knowing she'd be working with one of these jobs I could refer her to. I further told her that based on what she told me that a lawsuit could easily be filed against Relativity Media for damages, as well as an injunction to stop the show from airing that would reveal her face to the public against her wishes. So when I hung up the phone on her – I was of the impression we had just solved all of her problems. I got off the phone with her at about 8:00 in the evening in my time zone.

Early the next morning however I received calls from two attorney's saying they represented this woman. One was in New Jersey and the other was in Texas. Clearly I had been lied to about her not having legal representation. These attorney's demanded that I “do nothing” until they had spoken to me about her case. Seeing clearly I'd been lied to, and that she didn't need my help – I decided to drop the matter and walk away. However, things were just beginning here.

Later on that afternoon, I received a call again from this woman. She claimed she had been contacted by Maxine Doogan, Domina Elle, and Tara. They told her they were active sex workers, and that I had “published her real name online” and that I could “not be trusted”. Therefore, she said she wanted to let these women help her instead of myself. I told her the truth – I had not revealed her real name online and I'd done nothing at that point in time with respect to her yet. She sounded very confused.

I then went online to find what appeared to be postings by Kamylla lying about me on social media. When I confronted her about these lies, she told me she had signed an agreement with these women to speak on her behalf. That she had no internet service, no computer, and in fact was very sick in bed at the moment. In other words, she said it wasn't her speaking as her online – but them. When I read her what was being said and confronted her – she told me this was “not her feelings” and that she would speak with them to ask them to remove these lies about me first thing in the morning.

However, the lies only got worse and started coming out of more than one person. When I would slap one person with a notice I was going to sue for defamation, the profile would disappear entirely. Only to have another person re-appear saying the same exact lies. The minute I'd serve one with the legal notice, and get it taken down – another would appear saying the same identical lies. It was gang stalking and gang cyber-bullying at it's best. This was clearly an organized attack of some kind involving more than one person. The purpose – I had no idea. I had done nothing but offer to help this woman at no cost to her of any kind. We do not receive federal or government funding and are run strictly by volunteers identical to how AA is run. I have been running this hot-line and program as I said for 30 years now without one complaint. I've been investigated three times by reputable investigative journalists who have written glowing reports about us. I have years of testimonials online from our members which were given freely. I could not understand why we were being attacked like this.

Thing escalated as they launched their fund raiser for “Kamylla”. Not content with just bashing us online, they started stalking, threatening, and even attacking anyone who would defend us. That included friends of mine, members of SWA, and even members of SWOP and active sex workers who would step up to defend our work over the years. One woman who runs a chapter of SWOP was even threatened to her face that she would “be removed if she continued to even speak to Jody”.

Desperate to try and find some kind of dirt on me they started advertising and searching for someone to say something bad about us. Finding nothing, they started fabricating it. Finding nothing on their own search – they started sending in people to make “fake” phone calls to the hot-line trying desperately to find dirt that way. When they couldn't find anything that way – they again started making things up. For example, the attorney's we know who donate their legal assistance to our members we don't advertise their names online for exactly this reason – so they aren't attacked.

We had a woman call us from Vegas saying she wanted assistance with a criminal case demanding to speak to our attorney. We told her our procedure was to send me her paperwork. I would then take it to the attorney to review and then if he could help her – he would then contact her directly. When I refused to give this woman the name of the attorney – she started spreading online that we were “lying about lawyers helping out members”. It was so bad we had to literally go in and tell every family member, friend, member, or even associates of ours we were going to have to remove them as “friends” in our social media to protect them from these attacks.

The threats against me personally escalated. They started asking everyone they could find online where I lived. They started trying to figure out where I lived using public records. To obtain this information, they had a woman named Meg start telling people falsely online that I was “threatening and stalking her to the point where she was afraid to leave her home” when in reality I hadn't even talked to the woman before that. Yes I've saved screen shots of all of this activity because these people were clearly trying to find out where I lived with the intent to do me harm of some kind.

They started following my ads I run for the hot-line on Craigslist and Backpage. They would flag the ads. They would “textbomb” our hot-line to shut it down for days at a time. I was told this would continue until I “shut down our site and hot-line”. It was very clear these people wanted us shut down. For what purpose – I just don't know. Anyone who was even thinking about reaching out to us for help was bombarded with their terror campaigns and scared away.

Even Kamylla. I have received contact from her on two occasions now telling me she's actually in fear of her life and that of Heather who shot Neil Falls. She told me she was terrorized into going along with what they were doing by the promise of them withholding the money from the fundraiser, and from the attorney they had hired for her screwing up her case and costing her custody of her children and maybe even getting her deported. She claimed the money was blown on drugs and that more than one person was in fear of their lives because of these womens' threats and stalking.

Last night I came across a video located at is claiming to be “Kamylla” being interviewed by Maxine. However, the voice on the tape is not the voice of the woman I've spoken to. Further, I had learned that Kathryn Griffin-Townsend's program wasn't even operating during the time she said she was enrolled. Meaning everything about this youtube video is a complete hoax and attack against her while at the same time asking for money AND also lobbying for her cause to have prostitution legalized though her non-profit ESPLERP.

To make things even more complicated, I had started talking to a woman named Alice Jay. She runs Sister Survivors – an online group for trafficking survivors. She told me that a Dee Tucker had founded the program Families Against Trafficking. Alice told me that some women had “infiltrated her program and tore it out from under her” in connection with this show. The minute she told me this – she suddenly blocked me. I have been unable to locate this Dee Tucker. I do know that the website I've seen for FAST headed by D'Lita Miller is completely bogus. I have saved screen shots of the site going basically either nowhere or to a homeless shelter in San Diego. I know when I spoke with her on the phone – her story kept changing. Something even viewers who saw her on TV noted – that her story kept changing.

In connection with these women, I received another called from a woman who called herself “Sally” out of Las Vegas. She told me a tale of wanting to quit sex work but being unable to because she could “not get her ID card because of not being able to locate her birth certificate”. Only I've run into this problem many times in Nevada. I explained to her that we had 10 ways to solve that problem and get her an ID card – ranging from her school records to her health records could be used to help her get a legal ID card. No matter what suggestion I gave her – she blocked me. I tried another route and told her of legit jobs I know of who don't care about an ID card that much – one of which pays $25 an hour doing time share presentations for a major hotel chain. She refused to even discuss the job with me. She did however keep trying to talk me into creating her a fake ID card.

While talking to me – all she did was bash the Cupcake Girls while also trying to convince me to hold a fund raiser for her. I explained to her I don't believe in fund raisers. I believe in getting our members working. That if she wasn't going to interview for a $25 an hour job I sure as heck wasn't going to create a fund raiser for her. When I refused to create a fund raiser for her – she threatened me with more social media smearing. I reminded her I had recorded the calls if she wanted to lie about me online and that seemed to make her go away after she'd spent three days text bombing and jamming up our hot-line all night.

She quieted down for a while and then started up again. That told me she was up to something – and sure enough I discovered that she'd talked a nonprofit in Atlanta into holding a fund raiser for her based on the completely bogus story she'd handed me about not being able to get an ID card. Clearly, this nonprofit in Atlanta hadn't done any “due diligence” to properly even identify who they were raising money for.

What's going on here is becoming very clear. This group of women are lying to people about who thy are and what they're doing. They are attacking groups run by survivors designed to help others escape sex trafficking. If you ask me – only one type of person would do such a thing and that's traffickers. I recognize the voice in the youtube video and I believe it to belong to a woman who called me a long time ago saying she was being trafficked. Therefore, I think there is way more to this whole story than meets the eye. I do know that Kevin Brown also lied about everything also. His story being that he “found God two years ago” is a lie because his church incorporation papers were done in 1994. Which also by the way was six years before the Trafficking Act of 2000 was even passed given sex trafficking federal recognition. If there was no rescue, and everything was staged, why were they running around Orange County demanding to speak to 17 year old prostitutes like “Sweets” as outlined in the Los Angeles Times article about them?

This whole plot gets even more complicated. From what I've seen – money was donated to both Orange County and Long Beach based on people thinking the outreach Kevin Brown was heading along with Dlita Miller was “real”. Orange County received 1.2 million and Long Beach receiving about $4 million dollars. On top of the grant money, there was also private fund raisers that were held and money was collected from people who believed Kevin Brown was leading a “real” outreach.

On top of the potential donors and granters who might have given money thinking this outreach was in fact “real”, Relativity Media also obtained money from investors. Some investors who have already called them “con artists” in connection with a bankruptcy that's been filed. Now I saw a lawsuit slapped on them for saying this for “defamation” but if in fact they did stage this as “reality TV” then it's not defamation if true. Which might explain the absolute desperation on Relativity Media's part to try and make the show appear that it was not in fact completely “staged” but rather it just “broke promises” to Kamylla.

However, if “Kamylla” isn't real either – then what this means is that a completely fake “Jane Doe” has sued Relativity Media in a Houston courthouse with Damon Mantias representing the possible fake “Kamylla”. Meaning that judges are being defrauded her also.

Someone please open a case and look into what's going on here. These people have continued to try and attack us with “fake” callers to the point where I've had to shut down all incoming referrals until this is resolved. Not wanting to take the risk of exposing one of their “plants” to where our members an meetings really are – I'm put everyone on a hold until further notice. They have obviously lied in their fund raisers and on that point alone should be investigated. If you want to hear the tapes to see how the voices are different – let me know and I'll forward everything to you for review.

Thank you for your time in this matter.

Dear Concerned Parties:

First let me introduce myself. My name is Jody Williams. After a high profile arrest where I was dubbed the “High Tech Madam” in 1984 (clippings you can read at – I was finally able to find help to leave what I had been lured into myself in 1985. While in the sex industry – people knew they could get help to get away from pimps and traffickers from me. Still wanting to help, but not wanting to go back to sex work to do so - in 1987, I founded the first 12 step program called “Prostitutes Anonymous”, the first hotline for those seeking help to leave sex work (trafficked or not), and stepped up to demand our legal system change to acknowledge that not all of us were “criminals” but some in fact were victims being forced to do what they were doing. Thus I am the founder of the modern day sex trafficking movement itself I would like to add here.

Before I started our program – I was friends with Margo St. James, the founder of COYOTE, which later transformed into the St. James Infirmary when she retired. This was a sex workers rights group who also believed sex work was a career choice – and that people shouldn't be forced or trafficked. Her group was set up to help the sex worker – not to help them leave. We both agreed women should not be hunted down and locked up like criminals either. But she couldn't form an “alternative to sentencing” until we could get the laws changed. After talking with the California governor who told us we'd “never see the day when prostitutes are not arrested – but we could at least see they didn't have to go to jail by forming a 12 step program like how NA does for the addict” - we decided to form PA.

Thus the modern day sex trafficking movement was born. We changed our name in 1995 to “Sex Workers Anonymous” because the internet was blocking people from finding us because of adult filters not recognizing the word “prostitute” - and also to acknowledge the very real fact that not all seeking help from us were people selling physical intercourse for money.

So we were the first people to put together an HIV/AIDS outreach into the sex industry, to demand condoms not be considered “evidence of a crime”, the first alternative sentencing and diversion program, the first training for counselors, social workers, etc. in how to work with us properly, as well the first residential programs, the first “safe houses”, and the first “rescue” operations. Since most of the children we were finding being forced into prostitution were having this happen at the hands of their parents and/or guardians – we started referring anyone under legal age to Children of the Night – which was the only program around in 1987 equipped to handle this type of child and problem.

The other people I'm writing you about are Tom Forman, Kevin Brown, Maxine Doogan, Domina Elle, D'lita Miller, the Cupcake Girls, Abeni, Hookers for Jesus, and a woman calling herself “Kamylla” online. To understand the players in this letter – let me briefly introduce them also.

He is the man who produced the show “8 Minutes”, as well as “Catfish”, “OC Jails”, “Intervention” and “Gigolo's” through Relativity Media.

Kevin Brown:
Founded “Side by Side Church” after having been an Orange County officer. He was the host of the show “8 Minutes” and supposed “rescuer”. He says in interviews he “found God” after he retired – but the church paperwork was registered in California in 1994. Interesting since sex trafficking wasn't federal recognized until 2000 with the Trafficking Act of 2000.

Maxine Doogan
She's a dominatrix that runs the Erotic Service Provider Legal Educational Research – a nonprofit based out of San Francisco that's also filing a lawsuit to have prostitution decriminalized again after a failed attempt in 2008. She's also a convicted pimp according to one interview about this. The Case number for that lawsuit is 15 CV 01007. Her EIN # is 27-2049888 for ESPLER.

Domina Elle
A dominatrix based out of Denver, Colorado. However, she has phones registered in Pennsylvania, a travel agency registered out of Kentucky and California, and various other locations. She is doing business under the legal name of “Shekinah Avraam” who actually died in 2007. There is a voter registration showing her birthdate as 1966 – but again the person who is the owner of that name was born years earlier according to the obituary. Supposedly the real “Shekinah” worked with Domina Elle according to her Linkedin profile. She has a website at for her dungeon. I have a phone report I got from Intelius available if you'd like to see it listing some of her addresses across the United States, along with phone numbers and emails she's used also.

D'Lita Miller
In interviews she says she was a legal assistant who had no idea about sex trafficking until her daughter was trafficked in one interview – while in another she admits she had been a prostitute herself when she was younger. She was told by the police “there were no resources” so she set about to create a program called “Families Against Sex Trafficking”. She says she was a “consultant” whose input was “ignored” by the producers of “8 Minutes”. When I spoke to Ms. Miller about a week before she went onto CNN to do the segment “The Truth Behind “8 Minutes” with Jennifer Pozner, she told me that her biggest “frustration” was “not having any resources for the trafficking victims she works with”. I told her that was strange because there were a lot of resources available in California especially and I offered to show her these resources. She declined and then stopped returning my calls and email after I insisted there were resources available.

Cupcake Girls:
A program that opened a Las Vegas branch in 2012 according to news interviews. Their goal is to provide “help” to sex trafficking victims in Las Vegas. Recently, they appeared at the Nevada legislature in order to get a bill passed allowing those convicted of prostitution to have their records expunged by the claim that these women were “unable to find work” because of their criminal records. I've been placing prostitutes in jobs since 1996 when I relocated to Nevada, and I have a list of companies that will hire not only ex-prostitutes, but those with drug charges and even felonies. When I offered to give them a copy of this list to refer their clients to work – they declined. Clearly they're not interested in clearing these womens' records in order to find them work. This group is a front. I say that because I've also helped many a prostitute expunge their records, and also help them get work cards WITHOUT having to put down $5000 for an attorney. There is no reason for this bill other than because the legal brothels require that no one with a conviction for prostitution can be licensed AND the fact their paid lobbyist also happens to represent the Las Vegas Defense Attorney's.

A group in Orange County founded by Meg Munoz. Abeni is about “harm reduction” and believes in mixing sex trafficking victims with currently active sex workers according to interviews she's given. She is listed as a program utilized by the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force. Out of absolutely nowhere, with me saying nothing to her to warrant this accusation – Meg started saying online that I was “stalking her” and that she was “afraid for her life”. She then started trying to find out where I lived so that I could be hauled off on a 5150 charge. Not a light thing considering what happened to Sandra Bland after she was taken into custody after her comments about law enforcement. I have screen shots of our exact conversation SHE initiated to prove I said nothing to her that would warrant either of her accusations against me. The woman is clearly trying to do this to try and “squash the competition” to what her program is offering sex workers which from what I can see isn't much.

A woman who claims to be the only “non-American” woman filmed for the show “8 Minutes” who has now had multiple fund raisers given for her now online driven by Maxine Doogan and Domina Elle – two women who claim to be active sex workers. She is supposedly married, with multiple children under the age of 18 years old she's raising along with her also out of work husband who was portrayed as her pimp on the show supposedly. I say “supposedly” because I have not seen the episode.

About March of 2014, I received a call from a man claiming to be working with Kevin Brown. The story he gave me was this man had been a cop for 20 years, then after retiring he “found God”, and decided he wanted to go help the prostitutes he'd seen while on the beat. That he put together a program, and was now calling up prostitutes to a hotel room where he was then offering them “help”. That if they said “yes” he was taking them out to a compound in New Mexico he'd put together, getting them cleaned up, and off the streets. He said that “word was out” that they were doing this “sting” and now they couldn't get women to come to the hotel rooms and they wanted me to send them women to a hotel where they would then be offered help. Honestly – I thought this was a pimp calling me up at first or some cult. I mean he's “taking women out to some ranch in New Mexico”?

Now when I first started our program – it was not easy, not easy at all, to get these men and women to stop the “revolving door”. I mean we saw right off they'd put some time together, and then “relapse”. When we went to look for help from someone to show us how to stop this constant “relapse” - we found nothing. We found nothing because no one even understood how the sex industry worked back in the 1980's – let alone how to solve these problems. So truly we had to learn to invent the wheel about this. It took me YEARS to learn how to build a program that actually “worked” and this guy just sets his cap to it and suddenly he knows how to break this cycle? Plus what about the pimps that would come looking for these women? Nothing was jivving about this story. So I asked to see this with my own eyes – him, the survivors, the program, the house - everything.

The first thing I did was ask what types of jobs he was getting his “success stories” into. I got told that they were now being employed by the church to do these outreaches. I'm like “wait a minute – so you haven't actually got these women working and self-sufficient then if you're paying them?” To which he said yes. Again, it sounded like a cult to be honest or some guy with a fetish to be around hookers. So I asked about the screening. I know that you can't get a trafficking victim up to a hotel room without passing screening by their pimps. Then when the victim doesn't return – they're going to come looking. So I started asking how come they were not running into the same problems we do when we extract a sex trafficking victim – including the threats from local police, attorney's and private investigators.

When I asked how he was handling these threats – he just starts stuttering. I also didn't understand why the hotel sting. Why not just call them up or do street outreach? I mean we only use a “john sting” when we've found there is no way to get them away from the pimp other than when they're on an appointment. Otherwise, there's no point to this. This makes no sense to me at all – so I said that I wasn't going to give referrals to them unless I saw everything with my own eyes. I wanted to meet these so called “success stories”, I wanted to see this ranch, I wanted to see what type of program they were using, meet their people, etc. I also wanted to meet Kevin Brown. But when I asked to have these meetings and tours set up – he balked completely.

He then said “well don't you need help? If you send your callers to us we can help them.” To which I pointed out our system was working just fine and he could listen to some testimonials we have up at What I found strange was a group new to this work not asking questions of us who have been since 1987 and don't even know who we are. I told him frankly I questioned how when he put this program together when he didn't go online and at least talk to us about what our program does before starting his own. That's been a real red flag to me in the past that something is fishy. Samoly Mam is a good example. She's another one who didn't even bother to speak to me about our program, nor acknowledge we even existed – and she was a complete sham.
It just made no sense to me and that's why I said I wasn't going to give him any referrals until I met people and saw things with my own eyes. I didn't hear from him again and since he called me from a blocked number I couldn't get in touch with him again either.

Then in March of 2015, I received a phone call from Domina Elle's phone. She was gathering information on groups like ours to find out what services we offer. This was before the show “8 Minutes” had even aired. I told her what I tell people scouting for information – if she knows of someone who needs help they need to call us themselves to get more information.

On April 13, 2015, I got a call from a woman who called herself “Claudia Ortiz” at first. I knew it was a fake name because she said she was from Brazil, and also her call frankly sounded scripted. She insisted she was terrified if her story leaked out to the press she'd be deported – but I later learned she' talked to over 10 reporters before even calling me. People afraid of press don't call that many reporters. After telling me her story about the series being faked, and her being paid $200 to act like she was a prostitute, and her husband acting as her pimp on the show – she then said she really wanted help to quit sex work. All while not asking me anything about how to quit being she'd called SWA. Yes I have a tape recording of that call she gave me permission to publish.

But she said the producers wouldn't help her. This made no sense to me because if the show was being staged – then why would she think they'd help her? If they had a program – they wouldn't be hiring actors. But she also told me she was going to be evicted in two days, and she had no car, no money, and supposedly an open prostitution case and an open immigration case. She also said she was terrified they were going to air this show without her face blurred and this would affect her children's safety. She asked me for help – and I told her truthfully I had her “covered”.

First of all, I've been a paralegal for 29 years now. All of our members practically come in with evictions, or divorces, or restraining orders and no one can afford an attorney. So I told her I'd fill her out a “stay” for her eviction and get that filed in the morning. (Which by the way is why I think the Cupcake Girls are attacking and undermining our program – their lobbyist is also paid by defense lawyers who are not happy that as a paralegal I'm helping out women who can't afford to hire an attorney. However, what these attorney's don't understand is these women can't afford even the filing fees when I help them – let alone to pay for legal counsel. I spent 15 years being mentored by the best attorney's in Los Angeles and do know what I'm doing as far as helping members fill out forms.)

I also have a member of SWA in Houston who owns a call center. He could hire her and her husband on the spot. Since it's a call job – they can work from home and don't need a car. As for her being in the USA – what she told me sounded like she would be a good “expert witness” in the current lawsuit that Backpage has going all over the country. I figured we'd talk to them and as long as she's being used as an expert witness – then she can maintain her visa to stay in this country and this is not a job where she's replacing an American. All requirements for her to stay in this country on a work visa.

I further felt we could file a class action against Relativity on behalf of all of the women on the show asking for a million dollars because their constitutional rights were violated based on what she's telling me. Asking someone to pretend to be a “criminal” in reality was already something that the cast of “Gigolo's” went through. When being asked to be filmed committing a criminal act of prostitution while that film is labeled as “reality” is a form of entrapment and thus also violates their 5th amendment rights.

Something neither cast of “Gigolo's” nor “8 Minutes” were advised of before filming. They resolved that on Gigolo's by having the cast labeled as actors – NOT REALITY.

So not only did I feel we could sue them for violating these people's rights not to incriminate themselves – but I also felt the show was a defamation of both real victims and real sex workers separately who we could also name as plaintiffs. Why? If you watched the show they portrayed what I believe to be sex workers. Those who advertise on Backpage for sexual services for money – and if they wanted to go into some program for help they could. The show called these women “victims” over 10 times within five minutes. They said they were “mentally ill” and “junkies” and made it appear they all could not care for their own children. So they “defamed” sex workers.

As for victims of trafficking – they defamed them by making it appear that they CAN just make a choice in “8 Minutes” to simply stop what they're doing by choice. The whole definition of a victim is that THEY CAN'T LEAVE AND THERE IS NO CHOICE. Which was not what was portrayed on this show that was again STAGED. By staging this show the producers DELIBERATELY DEFAMED BOTH sex workers AND sex trafficking victims in one shot.

As for blurring Kamylla's face – we could get an injunction against that show airing based on it endangering her safety and her children's. But I didn't have a lot of time since it was airing in two days. This isn't the first time I've dealt with this. Mind you I've been through this when Annie Lobert was doing her so called “reality show” on Bravo that I got yanked after one episode because it was also a complete sham. Why? Because people had been donating over a million dollars to Pastor Benny Perez who basically filed bankruptcy and there was no house – and I got left being the one to provide the services to the prostitutes they'd promised help to. Maybe there is a house now in Vegas – but there wasn't one back in 2010 when Annie was claiming that such a house had opened already falsely.

I also helped to get “Gigolo's” pulled off the air until they could resolve their legal issues. They were also claiming to portray “real” male escorts and the reality of that world – well if that's the case then they were filming a crime. Metro then got involved because it was appearing they were filming a crime in process. The show then had to restructure itself before it could continue airing by admitting everyone was an actor on the show – even the clients – and that everything was staged.

Why was that important to me? Because Heidi Fleiss and Dennis Hof were using that show to raise millions out of investors who were led to believe that there's enough women buying men to sustain a male brothel for women when the reality is – well it's been shown – there aren't enough women who would patronize a male to female brothel. I also was the one who had to tell a lot of male hookers who relocated to Nevada thinking they'd be able to be like the men on the show - it was hype and then I had to help them get on their feet when they realized they weren't going to be another “Gigolo” . Once again, they got the money and I got the tab.

Which was exactly what was happening with “8 Minutes”. When it started airing I'm the one answering the phone now every night until 4:00 in the morning – while they're getting the donations, the grant money, the fame, etc. I'm the one talking people out of staging hotel stings once the show aired. I'm the one people are calling for help when they are trying to find Kevin Brown and not finding him. So now I had proof that show was in fact “staged” - I was going to go public with that information. I had a social obligation to do so because people were donating money thinking that what Kevin Brown was doing was “real”.

I was also very concerned about public safety what with people thinking this “sting” idea was actually a good idea. Someone was going to get hurt if it continued.

When I started to come forward with the fact the show had been staged – I'm suddenly having people coming out of nowhere insisting this “Claudia” now “Kamylla” might be deported if we release this information. Which was ridiculous. First of all, if she was going to be deported she would have been already when they arrested her. Second, if they tried to deport her while we were suing them then it would be clearly retaliation. I highly doubted they'd even attempt this sort of thing for fear of the bad press. Third, if they did try to deport her we could make a motion that we needed her in the states to testify in the Backpage lawsuit I'm sure we could have gotten her on as an expert witness about how the things being said about them are in fact “staged” because that's what she saw them doing during the taping of the show – they “staged” it to appear Backpage was where these women were coming from.

It was during this time I learned many of the people who were telling me “not” to do this were fake profiles – or “catfish” if you will. Which is why I warn you this is a deep rabbit hole with all the fake people, fake programs, fake churches, etc. involved in this whole situation. So I released a statement that the show was faked and did so knowing that “Claudia” was not her real name. Because this statement did not contain this woman's “real name” so no one's identity was violated plus it was very clear she wanted this press or she wouldn't have talked to all those reporters was my thinking. Now I understand yes she wanted the press – but wanted the press to NOT be about the show being staged.

I then served upon Relativity Media a notice that I was intending to file a lawsuit against them for defamation, and to get an injunction against them based on the threat to Claudia's safety if they showed her episode without blurring her face. I placed a copy of this notice on the A&E page about the show, and also all over social media. I thought it important to let people know there was no “program” in reality because when I went on the A&E page – I found Mercedes Reese, Greg Reese's wife, claiming that she was running a program in Orange County and that people could reach out to her for help.

Only based on my conversation with her – there was no program she was offering and certainly not one that I saw was effective at helping either sex trafficking victims or sex workers wanting to leave the industry to find help. Now they could be using a group to pump prostitutes for information like Slate wrote about how prevalent “informants” are in Orange County and from what the prostitutes were telling me – but not a real “program” that was helping them to leave sex work. What I was seeing was a combination of intelligence gathering, evangelism and fraudulent fund raising if anything (straight out of the Samoly Mam handbook) – but no actual program she was offering anyone.

If you wonder what I mean by that – let me ask you this simple question – if you were to want to help an alcoholic to get sober, or to get sober yourself, while you might use a church to help, and even go into a treatment program – wouldn't you even think of attempting this without at least consulting AA?
These people knew about us. Kevin Brown knew about us a year before. Domina Elle knew about us in March. This woman, Claudia, knew about me to call on April 13th for some reason. Yet despite knowing that we existed, and knowing that we've been effective with our members – they're not even asking us anything about our program, how it works – no questions were coming from them to us. So it's not about helping sex workers or trafficking victims then is it?

I'm sure that if Mercedes and Greg Reese had decided to start Safe Passage to help prostitutes it crossed their mind to go online and see if any existing programs were already operating which of course we can be found in two clicks off Google. I've answered our mail, email and hotline since 1987 and no one had contacted me for any information before setting up these so called “programs” so yes I am going to say they weren't set up with the recovery of these men and women in mind. Not just my program either were they ignoring – but also Children of the Night, Covenant House, CASTLA, Dream Center, Mary Magdalene Project, and so on. Our hotline lists all kinds of programs that they hadn't accessed because no one had called me to find (1) what programs already existed, and (2) how did we work?

So why are they doing this then if not having any intent to actually outreach someone into a program that works to help them exit and recover from sex work then? Good question. The next morning after this call from Claudia/Kamylla – my phone rings off the hook from an attorney in New Jersey and another in Houston both claiming she's their client. Clearly she has legal representation. I know that once you are an official “client” of an attorney – they can't just stop representing you if you run out of money. In fact, a judge can refuse to allow them to stop representing you over simply a lack of money.

So her call was a sham like I suspected. Which is why I had no problem going forward with the statement the whole show was a sham. Even Polaris had stepped up saying they had NOT given them permission to use their hotline even in connection with the show. So if they're not working with me, and not working with Polaris – then what is going on? But I'd also seen fund raisers going on in connection with “8 Minutes” so I had a moral obligation to those donors to let them know something.

But I was worried that others who had been promised their faces would be blurred were going to have shows airing that didn't – and their children might then be in danger. People only know what they hear – not the retractions. Fearing for this, and after being told by five reporters they would not print anything about this for fear they'd be fired – I decided to announce the injunction I could file in the Nevada court at the Las Vegas city council meeting being held the next day. I also knew some news reporters I knew would me on air to announce the filing of an injunction against the show.

However, I'm out of town getting my daughter medical care and can't afford a hotel. I'd been hearing about this group the “Cupcake Girls” so I wrote them about how women could be in danger of their faces being shown on air as “prostitutes” . I asked if they knew someone who could let me take a nap before driving back home. Their response was to tell me to go fly a kite, and then block me. I'd been trying for months prior to get information from them as to what they do for our hotline to no avail – and then this.

It honestly made no sense as to why they're out there doing all this PR about how much not only do they want to help the sex workers with their program, Cupcake Girls, but also made no sense from a Christian perspective why they're refusing to meet with me. Even more so in light of the fact I'm an ordained Christian minister and survivor as to why they're refusing to meet with me.

Which is when I suspected they were in fact a “front” for something else so I started nosing around. Sure enough, the Cupcake Girls have a paid lobbyist named Kerrie Kramer working for them. Now Kerrie also represents – wait drum roll now please – Las Vegas Defense Lawyers number one. Number two is the Nevada Bus & Limo Association, and number three Live Nation Entertainment. Now Live Nation Entertainment, based out of Los Angeles, also happens to produce concerts, and they're also a Wall Street traded company. Second drum roll please - - - because Live Nation Entertainment also happens to be producing Snoop Dogg's tour currently. This makes more sense when you review the website, and campaign, I have up at
Now it's making much more sense why these people are bringing cupcakes to strippers, offering them make-overs, and facials, and saying it's their “Christian outreach”. Baloney. I knew this was a sham the minute I heard that these women can't find work other than stripping when they appeared at the legislature. I've been placing strippers, prostitutes, and porn stars in great paying jobs outside the sex industry since 1996 in Nevada. I also had the Cupcake Girls refuse this list.

They clearly aren't doing this for the strippers as they claim. Not when you realize that Joy Hoover, their founder, also owns a salon in Las Vegas. THIS is why she goes into the strip clubs offering free make-overs. Which is fine frankly if that's how you want to grab some customers for your salon. But DON'T pretend this is a ministry to “HELP” them, all while bashing a group that's been in Las Vegas since 1996 ACTUALLY HELPING THEM.

The reason they refused the list, and also why they're against what we're doing is further understood when you realize their PAID lobbyist also represents defense lawyers of Las Vegas and Live Nation Entertainment. Defense lawyers who don't want to see a prostitute not needing a lawyer to expunge her records when all they've had to do in the past is get our assistance. This is a direct attack upon the fact we've been able to get prostitutes out of jail time through alternative sentencing in our program, as well as we've been able to get the work cards, jobs, and record expungement WITHOUT having to put up $5000 retainers to defense lawyers.

You also can not convince me their attacks upon our program are not connected with the fact that Live Nation Entertainment is producing two concerts coming up with Snoop Dogg – who I started a boycott movement against in 2013 when “Turbo” was first released by Disney. I also set up a website about the boycott at Why? Because sex trafficking victims are not able to get help, nor able to prosecute their traffickers when they're under Snoop's umbrella of protection. Since he started the Youth Football League – pimps are now able to get onto high schools they previously were unable to get access to because they didn't attend these schools. The cheerleaders are not being educated about sex trafficking – nor do they have anywhere to go if they are targeted. The boys are being shown a confessed pimp as a role model – yet Snoop does nothing to educate them about the dangers of sex trafficking or even of becoming pimps like Jeremy Greene who started out at 16 years of age.

The minute I announced the show was staged – it was like a very well organized battle plan went into action. The page was taken down from the A&E site and Buzzfeed noted it was down four hours after I'd placed a copy of the legal notice on that page. Mind you when shows are canceled – it is not normal to take down their page and the videos by the way. Go online and you can still watch canceled shows. It's so unusual that Buzzfeed posted an article about it.

So I sent the reporter, Ariane Grange, a copy of the notice I'd put on the page and told her this notice was why I felt the page was taken down. Then instead of writing anything about this notice, my email to her, etc. - she acts like she's not aware of this at all – and instead starts quotes Maxine Doogan where she proclaims she's the reason why the show was canceled. She had done no “due diligence” to verify anything about this woman's story before asking people to donate. Her omission about the information I'd given her outright suggests fraud and manipulation – because a lie by omission is still a lie.

But Maxine, who had been protesting them for weeks to no avail – releases a photo claiming victory on her part for getting the show canceled. Okay who cares I think. She wants credit – fine. But I find that the very reporters who are writing that she's responsible for this victory – are not writing anything about the legal notice I'd posted, nor about the fact we had a similar problem with the Annie show, or the Gigolo show, about the fact the producers asked people to portray a crime in action they filmed and called it “real” which is a form of entrapment, nor even mentioning anything about even talking to me.

Mary O'Hara for example had talked to me, and even acknowledged that she hadn't seen a contract out of Kamylla and that her story sounded “fake” - yet now I'm seeing a fund raiser for her that Mary's asking people to go donate to? Now that's really fishy. Why would she admit to me her story sounded “fake” and she's not even sure the woman was even on the show – and then ask people to go donate to her? Why is she printing articles that act like she's never even spoke to me or heard about me? Why is the issue of entrapment not discussed despite the fact it was discussed when “Gigolo's” went through the same exact issue with their filming from the same production company?

As I see this fund raiser going up that Domina Elle set up at – I note the domain was registered a year ago. Strangely the very week filming started. Okay she says she “had it laying around”. But then she claims that I had done something to trash it and they had to move it to another site. I had not. Wondering why she's lying – I go onto this fund raiser to see that she's also asking people to support a bill forcing homeless shelters to take in sex trafficking victims. There's a reason first of all that they don't. A reason why I had been saying since 1987 that our system needed to change the way it was helping sex trafficking victims because shelters across the country weren't secure enough to handle when these pimps show up in the middle of the night bearing guns.

But what I'm trying to figure out is why is this woman trying to champion a law like this? Plus doing it in combination with a fund raiser for this Kamylla as she's now being called? I ask if this woman is a lobbyist – and no she's not. So they take down the information when they move this fund raiser yet again – again falsely telling everyone that it's because of me that they're moving it. I'm also concerned because there are multiple lawsuits ongoing with respect to not only Backpage right now in different states – but also with respect to Maxine's lawsuit. Isn't this mass propaganda these women are engaging in without being lobbyists' also a form of “jury tampering”?

I served Domina Elle with a notice that I would file a defamation lawsuit if she did not take down these lies about me that she was posting. Her response was to yes take them down. However, the same exact postings, wording and even cartoon that she'd made of me then just pops up under a completely other, and fake, name. When I served that person with the notice – it's taken down – but then pops up under another name of a real person. I do it a fourth time and the same thing happens. I've checked the law and this makes what she's doing now “conspiracy” because more than one person now is engaging not only in this defamation, but now we're reached the point of “tortious economic interference”.

This tells me she knows what she's doing is illegal – but she's going to just keep doing it like a wolf pack until I'm too exhausted to fight. Why lie about me? I'm not understanding any of this. Then something clicks that scares me. My mother had been charged with pimping me based on a photo of me handing her a $20 bill for a bucket of KFC chicken. The hotel clerk and the cab driver were also arrested with me under pimping charges. I've seen cab drivers, nail ladies, and even hotel clerks arrested before for pimping. They charged Heidi Fleiss' parents with it at first, and even tried to go after Jeane Palfrey's mother. The law is very clear that if you take so much as $1.00 from a “prostitute” - then you're guilty of pimping. You give a phone number to a prostitute – and that's “pandering”. The law is very clear here and this is why I don't even pass the basket at SWA meetings.
Yet here they are asking KNOWN PROSTITUTES to donate to Kamylla who has no legitimate means of support to show where her money is coming from other than sex work or this fund raiser that's now money donated from prostitutes. I become greatly concerned that if she accepts this money – she could be charged with pimping as well as possibly money laundering. Further, that if without a job she gives even $1.00 of this to her husband then HE could be charged with pimping. That upon receipt of this money, if they both are charged with pimping, and even possibly money laundering, then they won't get bail because they're not American, and their children could placed in with foster care.

So I start asking Maxine and Domina Elle “what precautions are you taking about this?” to which the roar increases where they now want to make sure no one is talking to me. This is when they start trying to target our friends and followers on social media – only I went through this dance in 2013. For that reason I already have told our family, friends, supporters, members NOT to have me added anywhere, not to mention my name, not to have me listed anywhere so that someone can locate them using my name and then target them. But some had recently come in through SWOP and had mentioned my name in defense of me – and sure enough the threats started coming to them “don't talk to Jody or you'll be shunned by everyone”. Which is why I say this has gone beyond “defamation” and even “conspiracy” but now we're reaching the point of “tortious economic interference” in that they are now not only trying to do what I do, but they're now telling other people they can't even speak to me.

It's now reached the point of “economic interference” when they're now going to groups that we belong to that we do outreach in for those who need our help – and they've forced the moderators to take our name off the list. The moderators have told me privately they don't “want to – but were forced to”. Again, since they're working in a pack – this also makes it a conspiracy. Since it's also about conning people out of money that's now reached well over $10,000 - we're looking at a very serious issue here.

Only what did I do? I offered Kamylla help her with her legal issues, get her a job, help her sue the producers, help her stay in the country and suddenly I'm the “bad guy”? It's making no sense at all. To drive me off the internet – these people started attacking our hotline. Text bombing my phone at all hours to try and get me to shut off the phone. Setting up websites at telling people I'm a “predator” and to not call or trust us that they tell me won't come down until OUR website comes down. I mean what is it about us that is making these people so nervous? When we refused to cave – they started up with the phony calls to our hotline. When they couldn't trip me up into saying anything messed up – they get even angrier and more lies start spreading about us online.

I start getting calls from other members of groups like SWOP, Red Umbrella and Desiree Alliance we've helped over the years when they got arrested, and when they exited the sex industry. But now even out of the industry they still believe the laws need to be changed so they belong to both groups. They start telling me that these people are now trying to drive them out of these groups simply based upon being my friend, or a member of SWA. Again this makes absolutely no sense – but it is familiar.

I went through an almost identical scenario when Samoly Mam and Ben Hilliar were out in the anti-trafficking field trying to convince people they were real. Their people didn't want anyone around to denounce them anyone would listen to. Which is why I say I was “prepared” this time by not having anyone listing us on their social media – we'd already gone through this same exact type of smear campaign and witch hunt in 2013 when some people were trying to pass off phony sex trafficking survivors and rescue groups back then. Back then I'd been advised this was conspiracy, fraud, rackeeteering, money laundering, defamation and economic interference, as well as “cyber stalking” - but I didn't document what was happening when it was being done by Samoly Mam and her people. However, this time I was prepared and have. The names have changed – but the game is still the same.

Having those red flags go up – I start smelling someone's scamming money. Samoly Mam had gathered millions of dollars during her run before she got exposed. By running me out of the anti-trafficking groups I wasn't able to warn people about her before millions of dollars was scammed. So I start looking – and sure enough I see that Orange County (where Kevin Brown and Greg Reese is) has received $1,200,000 in grant money to “fight sex trafficking”.

A little more digging and I see that Orange County has also received $400,000 to provide housing for sex trafficking victims. Funny thing is I'd written the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force many times since they formed offering our services to their victims – only to never get so much as a return phone call from them. But I don't see Kevin Brown or Safe Passage listed on their directory.

Doing some homework on D'Lita Miller, who is claiming to be a “consultant” to the show, I find her name connected with very large sums of money, about $3,500,000 for victims, and another $1,500,000 for “outreach” in Long Beach. Only when I'm doing homework on her programs – I'm again finding nothing but smoke and mirrors. When I spoke to her and she told me there was “no resources” for these victims she says she's working with – after being involved with all this money being granted isn't there some obligation for her to at least find out from me what resources are available?

What I did found confused me even more. I found a big article in the Los Angeles Times, and the OC Register about the “outreach” that Kevin Brown and Greg Reese had been doing before the show “8 Minutes” had started recording. One article talked about how they were out “knocking on doors” and how they're trying to do “outreach to a 17 year old” only what concerns me now is why? Why are they out there trying to talk to a 17 year old minor female about what we now know is a non-existent program? If they were referring this girl to Children of the Night, or Covenant House – then I'd understand what they're doing. But if there's no program, and the show was staged, then why are they out there trying to track down a 17 year old prostitute if not to simply show off for the reporters? But then we go back to the issue that a lot of money was given to help these women. Maybe the 17 year old prostitute doesn't exist. But the women are telling stories identical to Kamylla's in that they aren't receiving anything. This is all very confusing and why I'm writing all of you to help sort this all out.

As for “Cupcake Girls' – this is a group that is out fund raising for this woman that any attempts I've made to document her story is real is coming up short. I've asked around and no one else has any documentation. Now I donated money to her fund raiser myself which means I have some right to have my questions answered as to the validity of her story. Otherwise, now I'm a victim of a scam. But when I asked the Cupcake Girls for some kind of proof they'd verified this woman's story after having donated to the fund raiser – I then got ignored. As a 501c3 I find this completely out of line.

Especially with how they're using their nonprofit status in a very unethical manner. After learning of this woman through me – they cut me off from her, threaten her she won't get her $5000 and she'll be deported supposedly if she speaks to me again - and then went after her to create a fund raiser that raised their public profile. They are not supposed to be a political organization, and have done extensive public relations in the past stating they are not a political organization. Yet they capitalized on this press to go to the Nevada legislature to have a Bill created asking to expunge records for prostitutes on the claim that these women “can't find work” because of those records.
I've been placing men and women through now only Sex Workers Anonymous, but also Narcotics Anonymous, in Nevada since 1996 and I have NOT found a criminal record for trespassing, solicitation, or even prostitution to hinder their ability to find work in any way other than cashier jobs, or jobs handling money. Even then, I've been able to help them apply for a work permit, or speak to their employer, and we've found it not to be a problem. I have a list of companies who will hire someone with not only a prostitution charge, but also drug charges, and even felonies. I offered this list to the Cupcake Girls and it was refused.

This to me tells me they are doing a disservice to these women. Especially when I'm getting phone calls like I did on August 11, 2015, from a woman who says when she asked them for help to exit the sex industry they referred her to the local homeless shelter only and blew her off. The woman turned out to just be very stressed out from her PTSD from being in prostitution. When I went with her to DMV – we had no problem obtaining her ID card which then allowed her to start seeking work so she wasn't forced to prostitute to support herself.

Which is what concerns me deeply about this. This woman had gone to Hookers for Jesus, and to Cupcake Girls, who are raising large sums of money on the spirit of the promise to their donors that they are helping women to leave prostitution. This woman who I'll call Sally went to both of these programs first asking for help. She couldn't get legit work because she couldn't get a valid ID card from DMV because she wasn't born here in the USA, and she was adopted. With an ID card, she also couldn't apply for social services. She reports they wouldn't even give her food at the food bank without an ID card. Without being able to find work, nor social services – she was forced to prostitute to care for herself. After coming to them with this problem – she says they both refused to help her.

Well I take that back. Hookers for Jesus offered to put her in a six month residential program, and the Cupcake Girls she says offered her a make-over inside of a strip club. Neither of these things were what she needed. However, upon rejecting her request for help to get her ID so she could find work – she was again forced to prostitute. In my mind, this makes them an accomplice to crime – and it also violates the spirit of the money that was donated and/or granted to these nonprofits when they are not EITHER doing what women like her need OR referring them to our program where WE CAN.

Now luckily some people like Sally go online, and keep looking. Upon continuing to look for help – they find us and then are helped. However, I've also known many a story where a woman has felt completely lost, hopeless, and outcast when refused help at groups like these – and they've gone home to kill themselves. I've then had long talks with their mothers who had to bury their babies about how they killed themselves because of knocking on door after door after door and getting no help.

It's one thing not to offer them the help. It's another to actively deny we exist, refuse to refer them to us, as well as that we're having to do the work while they're the ones getting all the grant money and press. Frankly, I don't have the time to do the press they do BECAUSE I'M BUSY HELPING THE SALLY'S OUT THERE. This woman called me at 4:00 a.m. After spending hours talking to her on the phone, I wasn't able to wake up until 3:00 in the afternoon the next day. I then got up and got on the phone with DMV to find out what paperwork we needed to get her ID. Then the next day we spent literally eight hours at DMV obtaining her ID card. I had to pick her up in my car, take her to DMV, and then take her home again all on my own dime. Work I would like to add I WOULDN'T BE HAVING TO DO IF EITHER OF THESE GROUPS HAD DONE IT FOR HER.

Which again is fine – but then when I try and go online to raise any type of support for the work we're doing to cover my expenses in having to help women like her – I'm finding myself either blocked out of access to do this, or I'm having people telling me they're being threatened about being fired if they speak to us, their grant money messed with if they speak to us, social shunning if they speak to us, AND reporters telling me they'll also be drummed out of the industry if they give US the SAME PRESS THEY'RE GIVING THEM.

After looking at who the paid lobbyist, Kerrie Kramer, represents then these attacks make much more sense now. Including how it all connects right back to the Los Angeles based Relativity Media as well.

So something has to give here. Which is why I'm in the process of filing civil lawsuits against these people. In the meantime, I'm writing your offices to see what you can do to investigate for possible criminal charges for one. For another, I'd like the IRS to review whether or not these groups are abusing their 501c3 privileges granted by your offices.

I also think the grant sources need to know about what's being done with their money in reality. If you will note this fact – each one of these groups that have been trying to chase us out of business (if you call what we do “business”) is connected by either a large grant, or a large financial interest. Therefore this is “economic interference” and “conspiracy”. As well I'd like your offices to also investigate into whether or not these activities constitute fraud or not. I also don't think defense lawyers and corporations, as well as Snoop's guard dogs, should be disguising their agenda under the Cupcake Girls skirts or Domina Elle's leathers either.

I've attached some documentation with this letter to help you review these issues. If I'm missing something you need, I have all kinds of screen shots that I've taken to document their activities, including the receipts to show that I've donated to these fund raisers, as well as the emails between the parties and myself too numerous to include in this already long letter.

Thank you very much for your time and attention in this matter.
