Yesterday's "War on Drugs" is Today's "War on Trafficking"

Before starting our 12 step program which was originally named "Prostitutes Anonymous" in 1987 (we renamed ourselves in 1995 to "Sex Workers Anonymous" to include those doing webcam work, porn and stripping), I created an "advisory board".  (I have clips here at www.hightechmadam.com that verify the date, and I'm the founder this program.)

On that advisory board I tracked down the still living founders of other 12 step programs such as Roy K., who founded Sexaholics Anonymous and Ruby who founded Overeaters Anonymous.  I then added in people who knew how to run a 12 step program such as Bob Stone, who was Narcotics Anonymous executive director for 12 years before his death of cancer, as well as a woman who was the Treasurer for the General Office of Alcoholics Anonymous to name a few of them who have passed on now so I can speak about them (Roy and Ruby have passed now also.)

I also added on people who had been in the Black Panthers, along with survivors of the Holocaust.  These two groups taught me a lot about the civil rights movement, as well as how Hitler operated in Germany.  I added them to the board because I was starting a movement just as much as the hotline and 12 step program.  That movement was to change the way the way our society, and legal system, viewed those in the sex industry, including those who had been sold and/or forced to be there.

You have to remember, when we started in 1987, the idea of sex trafficking didn't exist.  People knew about the African American pimp back then - seeing characters like Hubby Bear on Starsky & Hutch - but we weren't really educated about the idea of sex trafficking.  The Mann Act of 1910 had been passed to address Chinese women who were brought over here to work in massage parlors - but up until the 1960's the only two people arrested on the Mann Act was two African-American men.  That was Chuck Berry, the musician, and Jack Johnson, the boxer.  These men were arrested for marrying white women and then crossing the state line.  Essentially calling their wives "prostitutes".

So here the Mann Act was passed so clearly our government knew about what was happening to Chinese women - but rather than arrest one single Chinese trafficker - two African-American men were arrested and their wives labeled "prostitutes"?

I'm old enough to remember Iran Contra - which was our government being the ones to bring cocaine into this country to raise money to buy guns for the Contra's (watch the film "Charlie's War").  To cover up that it was our government bringing the drugs into the country - they had to have someone to blame and there had to be a smoke screen.  The smoke screen was the "War on Drugs".  Which now http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/23/politics/john-ehrlichman-richard-nixon-drug-war-blacks-hippie/index.html John Ehrlichman, Nixon's policy Aide, has come out and confirmed was all about coming after the African-American community.

I want you to know that right before this the Juvenile Justice Act was passed in 1974.  I was 14 years old at the time, and my mother was working at the juvenile court system in Los Angeles.  The year 1974 is the same year my mother literally had a nervous breakdown because she couldn't understand the shift she'd seen from 1973 to 1974 in the way juveniles were being treated by the law.

The old Italian mob which had been pretty much in power in this country before then - liking to keep their vices to adults which included gambling, prostitution, and bootlegging.  They used to string up anyone caught selling drugs to children, or near schools.  But in comes Frank Lucas (as seen in "American Gangster").  Now we have cocaine from Asia coming over in military caskets and funneling through the African American community like an multi-level marketing scheme.

Because of this new law being passed which basically meant  if a juvenile was caught in a drug deal that would have got an adult 20 years in prison - they'd get a slap on the wrists and then their record expunged at 18.  What this translated into was that suddenly we were seeing 10 year old look-outs, 13 year old drug dealers standing on corners, and 16 year old's cooking up the drug and packaging it.  Some of what wasn't mentioned was that prostitutes were the ones carrying to the drugs to their "white johns".

None of which was done by themselves - but brought into the game by adults.  In other words, the Juvenile Justice Act of 1974 created a whole new generation of children dealing in drugs.  If you were the distributor - would you want to work with someone who could get 20 years in prison that could point the finger at you and then you'd go to jail, or would you prefer to have someone doing it that isn't going to get any time at all hardly and not give you up in the process also?  You got it - it painted a target on children to be the ones to sell the drugs.

Meaning I remember how things went down after the Juvenile Justice Act of 1974 passed because I lived through it.  I was 14 years old at the time and I was constantly being approached to buy and/or sell drugs of all kinds, as well as carry guns.   My mom used to see the craziest things in juvenile court - so crazy it literally drove her to a nervous breakdown.  I remember her saying things like "we just sentenced a 17 year old boy who likes to rape 10 year old boys to go to a boy's home full of other 10 year olds boys".  Her breakdown was because she just couldn't understand why the system was acting this way as to do things like that.

Which is why I didn't see anyone else objecting when the "No Such Thing" campaign kicked up last year - but I fought as hard as I could against it.  Like the JJA of 1974 - it SOUNDED great - but I knew the result was going to create a whole new generation of juveniles being turned out.  A campaign backed and financed by the McCain Institute, and the California Endowment.  Two groups not known for their work with sex trafficked juveniles.  When I first heard about it and went to check it out - I was personally offended by the constant imagery of African American girls as the victims as well as African American men as the pimps.  https://www.mccaininstitute.org/programs/humanitarian-action/the-nosuchthing-campaign  Every article, every press conference, every time Malika Saar would speak about this campaign she'd be wearing corn rows.  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/malika-saada-saar/

I actually tried to reach Malika for this reason.  I sent her emails and faxes saying that I really wish she had discussed this campaign with me before launching it because I would have gone to great lengths to make sure no one race or community was painted out to the ones with this problem.  If you look at any of the media I put out for Sex Workers Anonymous - you will see a nice mix of people who are male, female and transgender, as well as white, Hispanic, African-American, native American, Chinese, Jewish, Buddhist, LGBT, straight - in other words a whole range of the human spectrum.  Even after receiving my emails and faxes - this campaign still appears to be about African American young girls.  Meaning also their "traffickers" are African-American men.

Not long before this campaign, I was having the strangest of problems with what appeared to be a substitution of me in the media with an African-American woman.  Tell me if after reading this article, and watching the video if Brenda Myers-Powell doesn't appear to you to be the founder of "Prostitutes Anonymous".  http://www.nbcchicago.com/investigations/Jail-Inmates-Start-Prostitutes-Anonymous-Group-277845151.html

The thing is - when I went to Marion Brooks and told her that Brenda was not our founder, not even our director of our main office, and had no legal right to be speaking on our behalf in major media, and asked her to please understand that what she had just broadcast was a complete hoax.  Her response was to instead print at the bottom of the article that "Sex Workers Anonymous and Prostitutes Anonymous are not affiliated".

What?  I had explained to this reporter that I had not given any legal consent for there to be a program by our name in the Division 17 jail in the first place that she filmed, that Brenda was not our director, nor did she hold any position within our group, and she had no legal right to be granting media interviews, and instead of being a reporter and trying to get to the bottom of what happened here she discounts US?

Not that NBC was an isolated incident.  Oprah produced a one hour show with Brenda also about her and what makes her appear to be our founder and director of "Prostitutes Anonymous".  http://www.cookcountysheriff.com/press_page/press_OWN_Documentary_08_16_2011.html  In this two hour documentary produced by Oprah, Brenda speaks about "Prostitutes Anonymous" like she's the founder - complete with phony group of members and all.  I say that because I've been speaking to some women who swear to me that Brenda is the "founder" of Prostitutes Anonymous, while others have told me "the minute the camera was turned off the meeting was over and Brenda was gone".

When I contacted the Oprah Network about the impression being created here in this film that Brenda held any position with us, or that she had any legal rights to even be running the group they filmed, and that the group they filmed Brenda leading was a complete fraud - you'd think they'd be interested in hearing they had another case of "A Million Little Pieces" on their hands again.   https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Million_Little_Pieces

When I served both producers with a legal letter notifying them that Brenda's "misrepresentation" of what appears to her being the founder of "Prostitutes Anonymous", and that the group she's pretending to run for the sake of the camera's that are there, along with the fact they were violating my copyrights and trademarks' to all intellectual properties with respect to the 12 step program she was pretending to be running in these films - a THIRD film was suddenly produced also making her appear to be the founder of this 12 step program, as well as running a group of ours as part of her work with prostitutes called "Dreamcatchers".  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dreamcatcher_(2015_film)

Only this third film was produced out of the UK.  Why?  An attorney told me that I'd have a hell of a time suing a production company outside of the USA is why.   However, despite the fact it appears all three of these films were done by different companies - that's also misleading.  They were shot by different companies - but ALL THREE were produced by Hearst Media.

Thinking the producers would like to know they've just been hoaxed - I contacted them only to be rebuffed.  I can say it's completely a hoax based on what the women are telling me from Chicago.  They tell me that when the camera is on - Brenda appears to be running a "Prostitutes Anonymous" program.  BUT when the cameras pack up and go home - they're not getting the light of day.  Since she holds no official position in our program, she has no registered meeting in our program, and she holds not even a seat on our board - then yes this is a hoax that she's running here.

I remember I sat back and watched all three of these films that had been produced of Brenda essentially appearing to be me.  They didn't say the word "founder" explicitly - but each of these films IMPLIES that she is.  Again evidenced by the women I spoke to in Chicago who swore to me Brenda was the founder refusing to believe I was.  Clearly people are being led to believe she's the founder.  Why do they she's the founder?  They saw her on TV - not me.  If I created the program, and I was the reason why Brenda got out of prostitution according to her own interview with me https://www.facebook.com/sexworkersanonymousofficialpage/posts/672384109477598 and I created the first alternative sentencing program can someone please tell me WHY ARE THEY FILMING BRENDA instead of me?

I mean when Alexander Fleming invented antibiotics - would a film maker go and make a documentary about antibiotics and go and show a local crack dealer illegally selling drugs for the film on antibiotics or would they go talk to Alexander?   https://explorable.com/history-of-antibiotics  You could say the producers' fingers are broken and they can't use google to find out she's not holding any positions in fact in Prostitutes Anonymous ever  not even running a registered meeting of ours, before filming - but then why would they continue on pushing the project after knowing they just filmed a fraud and imposter?

In the legal notice I served upon A&E and Relativity Media for the "defamation" of both sex workers and sex trafficking survivors in "8 Minutes" do you know one of the reasons why I was so insulted?  Because every so called "victim" in the show was either African American or Hispanic that's why.  It definitely created the impression that minority women of color were turning to prostitution because they didn't know how to hold onto their kids or  job.    If those women had been real that's one thing.  But when you realize it was all being staged and scripted - then you have to ask why are they racially biasing this show with only women of color when even McDonald's when  they put on a commercial try to show a wide spectrum of the rainbow?

I sat back and watched all three of the films Brenda was in, how she was portrayed, etc., and then asked myself why these producers would be brought in to film her instead of me, the real founder.  Honestly the only reason I could come up with is the fact that Brenda is not only African-American - but her Chicago group she's portraying in these films is also mostly African-American.  Ironically our REAL group in Chicago is almost all white.  In fact, every "real" group of our program is predominantly white, and I myself appear white.  (The ironic part is I'm part Native-American and part African-American - I just appear white.)

As I'm describing these things to one of our board members trying to figure out why Hearst Media would be wanting the public to assume that not only am I African American, and our group dominantly so also, he says to me "we appear to be the target of Cointelpro".

I'm like "what's that?"  As he tells me, I clicked on the study I'd done on the civil rights movement what with things like how the government tapped Martin Luther King's phone just to try and scare him into dropping out of the movement.  When that didn't work they tried to use it to smear him with the other ministers.

As I'm reading up on this Cointelpro, I'm asking myself "but why would they be after us?"  In other words, why the modern sex trafficking movement I'd founded?  Like Martin Luther King, instead of smearing me with other ministers - I'm also being smeared by my community just like he was.  I couldn't help but see the same patterns as I had during Iran Contra and the "War on Drugs" including that ridiculous "Just Say No" campaign which is just as pointless as the "raise awareness" movement is with sex trafficking.   There's a commercial out now for Lifelock - in which they make fun of a guard who only "raises awareness" but doesn't do anything.  Which is what I see being pounded into this movement - raise "awareness" is a real good way to not DO ANYTHING.

Then I say to myself "Could this be Iran Contra 2.0"?  In other words, has the government moved from using drugs to prostitution in order to target the African-American community ?  https://theintercept.com/2015/10/26/pentagon-missionary-spies-christian-ngo-front-for-north-korea-espionage/  Then I realized that during the "war on drugs" one had to be caught with drugs in order to be arrested.  With respect to sex trafficking, as a woman all you need is a vagina to be considered as "holding" and then any African-American male with an African American women where the man doesn't have a job could also be labeled as a "trafficker".

As a matter of fact, I saw in the NBC series on "Sex Slaves" that was the most bogus series I've seen complete with fake survivors and fake trafficking programs - I witnessed the camera pointing at an African American male waiting to bail our his girlfriend with the producer saying "How do it feel to be a trafficker?"  To which the man just said "I'm not" and then the laugh from the producer like he was.

This is brainwashing folks.  I know this to be true because I sat down when those series first aired on NBC in each major city.  I made  list of each group they filmed, and who they interviewed because they CONSISTENTLY REFUSED to film any of our groups or members.  I wanted to see who they were filming over us.   I found each and every one either to be completely fake, or something the police were using in their witness protection programs.  Either way, nothing in the film was real including the survivors - many of who were also faked ala "8 Minutes".

Think they're not demonizing African-American men with this movement?  Try substituting the word "pimp" with "trafficker" and tell me if you don't see more clearly what's going on here.  Then ask yourself why the "biggest bust in US history" falsely locked up 3 Muslim men as "traffickers".  http://reason.com/blog/2016/03/04/the-somali-sex-slave-ring-that-wasnt

As a matter of fact, I went to an FBI agent who had arrested William Hillar, who the film "Taken" was based on.  I asked him for help in going after a Triad sex trafficking ring where the victims were being threatened by police, attorney's and politicians.   His response to me was his "hands were tired UNLESS the traffickers were Muslim's".

Welcome to Iran Contra 2.0.
