COPS CAN BE PIMPS TOO

Don't get me wrong - I love cops.  I know we can't do without cops.  I just want to know that if I call a cop - that I'm going to get help.  Not call a cop and get in trouble for calling for help which is what happens when your pimp is a cop.  Which as this article shows - sometimes happens. http://nypost.com/2016/02/02/nypd-cop-ran-tri-state-prostitution-ring-officials-say/  Here we have a male cop who was pimping out these women whose wife was a cop also.  Now I ask you - who can these women call for help when being pimped by a cop?  Ex-military cop which means "scary" cop?  This guy was even observed by cops pimping - and yet they let him go without arresting him.  The only thing stopping him was a complaint to Internal Affairs.  Now granted he was arrested by a call to Internal Affairs, but how else would these women leave this situation without him being locked up and off the streets on bail?  Oh wait - you mean he might be locked up in jail and STILL be able to pimp them out?  http://nypost.com/2016/02/02/pimp-who-was-once-a-talk-show-guest-busted-for-high-end-gym-robberies/ This pimp made "$500,000 from prostitution while still in jail".  Meaning that while in jail, this pimp was able to keep being a pimp.  So does locking up a pimp automatically mean his prostitutes are safe?  Hell no.  Which is why we ask those who find themselves in this situation who don't know where to turn to please call www.sexworkersanonymous.com for help.

SESTA/FOSTA OPPOSITION

Now maybe I look at this lawsuit a bit differently because I've been working as a paralegal for so long now, but when I've shown this case to various lawyers - they all say the same thing - this case will be dismissed for a lack of standing. EVEN IF they can prove standing, they can't prove damages. If they can't show actual damages by SESTA/FOSTA - then how on earth are they going to prove they can over turn this case. I do know that "Alex Andrews" wormed her way into being in this case above and beyond myself - who I knew couldn't prove any standing or damages that SESTA/FOSTA harmed her, especially since I knew not only was this someone claiming to be a working sex worker, someone who others were telling me was still in sex work, but further wasn't even her
